Let ‘Er Rip!🤗
Sometimes you must wear many hats Lol!😇
The temperature was in the 40’s when the Sun started to shine through the trees at Silvertop’s home early this morning!😎
Yesterday was painting…………….
Today, Silvertop put his carpenter hat on!😊
I needed to “rip” and install new Cedar trim boards for my custom front door!😊
Silvertop built this door with hand selected Douglas Fir lumber!😊
I oversized this door when I designed it, with a width of 38 inches.
It is by far the largest, and heaviest, door I have built and installed!😅
I wanted to add rustic trim, to give it a Mountain home look!😊
All went well until the wind shifted…………..
Liz being a license optician, bought Silvertop safety glasses…………..
I was sanding around the door trim to make a professional install of the trim boards, when …………………
Silvertop couldn’t see !😳
The wind had blown sawdust in my left eye!
The Mrs was at work I didn’t want to bother her……..
I searched for eye drops……..
Cot was watching………
He jumped up and was in Silvertop’s face, he knew something was wrong!
It’s amazing how intuitive Cats can be!😻
Staggering through the house, blinking over and over like a drunk man on a Saturday night binge, Silvertops broke down and called Liz at work!😲
“You weren’t wearing you safety glasses!”🤔
No……………..😲
The Mrs recommended flushing my eye with distilled water.😮
Thankfully, I keep sealed gallon jugs of distilled water for my solar batteries!😇
“I will bring home eye drops Silvertop, let be know if the distilled water helps!”🥰
Flushing my eye did the trick!😊
Cot was watching Silvertop pour water on his face, on his shirt, and thankfully some in my eye Lol!🤣
“Cot, I’m going back outside …………
See I have my safety glasses!😇
Be careful out there guys, and always listen to your eye care professional!😇🥰
