A quick mix of paint conditioner in my last gallon of siding paint………
For now Lol………….😇
“Liz, the weather is closing in, maybe I will hold off buying any more paint for the moment !”🤔
It was sprinkling, so I headed up to my firewood pile. Silvertop can split wood in the rain…………..
IF I must Lol!😇
That’s when I got a text from my friend in the tiny house…………
“Silvertop I just fired up the new wood stove you helped install, I’m cooking beans on top!”🤗
That’s awesome my friend, looks like you have a good fire burning!😊
The first time you “Fire” up a wood stove, it will bake the stove paint, and it will smell…….. it could even set off smoke detectors!😮
This is completely normal, that’s why my friend was lighting this fire, “Before” the rainstorm they are forecasting, comes later today!😇
The plan for today was…………
Mix paint……
Then split and stack some firewood……..
Then run to town for some tarps for a small old stack of firewood that might have carpenter ants. I am keeping this stack FAR away from our home and my good firewood!😇
I kept hearing what I thought was my next door neighbor working along his fence line, through the woods……….🤔
That when things got sad…………….
I was hearing Liz digging…………..
The Mrs doesn’t dig, except her garden.

A feral Mother cat just had baby kittens, and the Mother cat is nowhere to be found………..
One kitten had died, and Liz was getting ready to bury him!🥺
We didn’t want to start feeding these kittens, we were hoping the Mother would hide them far from our home, but now it looks like the Mrs is going to feed these very hungry babies!😍
Life has twists and turns my friends!😇
I guess we will now have a couple of outdoor cats……..❤️
After all that’s how Cot joined the family, he was a lost “Baby Mountain Lion”!😻
