Our firewood supplier called and said he would be delivering our wood between 9 and 10 AM today!
“Liz I really can’t start any painting!”😲
The Mrs had a Dentist appointment this morning, and our firewood supplier only had HER cell phone number………..
“Silvertop I just pulled into the Dentist parking lot, and a truck pulling a VERY large trailer full of firewood just drove by!”😳
Silvertop went out to the street, ready to flag the driver into our driveway!
I wasn’t sure if he was skilled at backing up a large trailer…………
I could see my newer installed gate lights being damaged!😲
Jim the driver pulled to a stop at our gate……….
“Silvertop I am going to go up your road turn around and back into your driveway!”😇
Our driveway can be a challenge for large trucks………. I held my breath!😬
Truck tires were spinning, as he started backing up!
He later told me he was pulling over 2,800 lbs not including the weight of trailer!
He shut the engine off ………
Silvertop breathed a sigh of relief!🤗
His dump truck that he normally uses was broke down. Usually he is able to drive around through my mowed yard to my woodshed. Not today, he was concerned about getting stuck with the trailer.
So…… all the firewood was dumped in the driveway!

I loaded up my Dodge Dakota pickup and drove through my yard to a spot close to my wood shed!
Three full truck loads and I barely made a dent in the main pile!🥵
Liz needed to run to town to return some Amazon purchases and Silvertop was more than ready to call my firewood “Re-stacking” for the day!😅
You can see the trees in town are just barely starting to turn colors for Fall………
Just look at the second to last photo, I think this tree has passed Fall and is ready for Christmas Lol!🤣

Till tomorrow, Silvertop will be looking for fellow actifiter’s bright and early to help stack more firewood!😇

I was concerned, I worked for an electrician in Colorado and watched him take 12 tries backing up a trailer never succeeding!😳
