Yep….. the smoke is back!😮
After a morning resealing roof flashing, I thought I better grab a hike before the air quality got any worse!😲
“ Variety is the spice of life”, so today I headed up Keith and Lynne’s gravel road, and hung a right at the “Floor Trail” trailhead !😊
As I started up the Floor trail, I could hear a car coming downhill………………
It was Lynne, she pulled to a stop……………
“Silvertop the smoke is back!”😬
Keith and Lynne both play and sing, so I’m sure the smoke is going to affect them!
“Silvertop you be careful on todays hike, say hi to Liz from me!”😊
I think Lynne would rather see me hike in a group, she always lets me know when we have a Bear or Cougar sighting!😇
“Silvertop we were over on “Soaring Eagle” and from across the valley we heard a Cougar screaming……..It was very eerie!”😳😽
I’m just going to the top of the “Floor Trail” Lynne……
The Floor Trail is actually higher than the High Trail!🤔
It intersects with the high trail up top, on a seldom used side trail.
I climbed over fallen trees, and carefully walked through stinging nettle that just will not die Lol!🤣
This is a good spot to turnaround…..
It was time to head downhill………
Hopefully we will soon get some rain to help with these out of control Forest fires!😮

I guess from now on we'll get to see more and more fires all over the planet, unplanned and planed as well :))
20 years ago, we didn’t have the forest fires or the smoke in the northwest. It was mostly further south or up in Canada.😮
It’s 7:30 in the morning here, and it’s cool outside but the smoke is so bad I’m about to close all the windows ……😳
