MOM AND DAD ARE GOING HIKING CYLE! ....... Actifit Report Card: August 22 2023

Mom and Dad went hiking Cyle!😻
“Alexa, what’s the high temperature today?”
“You can expect a high of 72 degrees Fahrenheit, it is currently 71 degrees!”
Ahhh…………………..😇
Is it Fall yet, even this colorful “Tree Frog” that came out to greet Silvertop, senses a change in the weather!
Years ago as a teenager, back in Cincinnati, the top “rock” radio station WEBN, promoted the station selling t-shirts featuring tree frog beer.☺️
I remember asking someone if there was actually was such a thing as a tree frog?
That person told Silvertop ……no!🤔
Yes Tree Frogs are real Virginia!😇
“I told Jan we were hiking to the “High Trail” at 3:00 Silvertop!”🥰
I was outside painting my pump house when my friend from the tiny house texted……………..
“Can you stop by at 3:00 for some moral support Silvertop, I am going to cut a hole in my tiny house ceiling for our new wood stove?”😬
Liz, I can stop up at the tiny house about 2:50, if you guys hike at 3:30, you can come by and get me!😊
That worked out very well!
My friend was understandably, very nervous about putting a hole in the ceiling………….all went well!🤗
That’s about when Liz and Jan walked into the driveway of the tiny house.
“Are you guys all finished?”😊
Well sort of……. the hole is cut through!😇
My friend was stopping at this point for the day, I think he was stressed………😅
Baby steps my friend!
With the “bad air” and 90 degrees plus temperatures the last two weeks, no one was hiking up this steep mountain slope!
The goal is to start at the bottom, and climb the hill to the top without stopping!
For a cool day, everyone was warming up quickly!😅
Becky and Tim have added a fifth wheel trailer up top for guests.
I don’t think I would have put it so close to the off grid cabin, but it’s their call!😇
“Nice hike Liz, and with the air quality at a clean “25”, I’m glad we held off hiking for a few day!”🥰
Silvertop and Liz are back!🤗
