DO YOU HEAR THAT FUNNY SOUND! .............. Actifit Report Card: July 27 2023

(Edited)

Do you hear that funny sound?😲
It has been a while since Silvertop hiked Sumas Mountain……….
Today was the day!🤗
I stopped to chat with my friend at the tiny house along the hike uphill……Silvertop will be helping him with some electrical wiring, and he is picking up breakers and wires getting ready for the project!😊
“Give me a week my friend, I’m still shaky from the nasty bug Liz and I picked up, I want to make sure I don’t share with your family as well!”😇
“No rush Silvertop, make sure your better!”😊
Today’s hiking trail took me up a steep uphill climb, this should help me get my stamina back!😇
Before I hit the trailhead, I heard the telltale sound of a gasoline generator running!😮
I rounded to bend, to come face-to-face with “THE TRUCK “! 😳
People whisper among themselves when they spot this truck!
Money literally drips from the ground where ever this vehicle is parked!
This is B.C. Well drilling company!
Look closely at the second photo, and you can see a steady stream of water pouring from the end of the horizontal white pipe!
Our neighbors Tim and Becky, just dropped some money on a new water well!😲
Water wells can be very expensive!😳
After drilling, they will keep the pump running to clean out mud and sand, until the well is flushed out!
I stood watching the water pour out, wondering how deep this new well was!🤔
I hiked onward………….
I was headed up to the ridge top today.
Tim and Becky also own the “off grid cabin” that you see in the second to last photo.
I stopped and sat on the front porch of the cabin for a few minutes…………..
I could see the Ocean from here……….
So very nice!
Another beautiful day in the Pacific Northwest!😊
Till tomorrow Silvertop Mike 😊

Water wells can be very expensive anymore, just getting a permit cost an arm and a leg! I wonder how deep they needed to drill there? Great pictures as always, I love the pine trees. Glad you're feeling a little better!

If I run into Tim and Becky I will ask them how deep it is I’m sure it’s deep !😳
At our place we’re 125 feet down .
At our home in Colorado we were 495 feet down, then we had to pump it up a steep hill, and then three stories up at our house!😳

We have our own private water well, that is 125 feet deep!
It's basically an artesian well even during dry weather we have plenty of water!😀
