Hmmm………what’s this I see!😇
Silvertop decided to take a different path on todays hike……I headed down in the direction of the local Natural Gas pipeline, to do some exploring!😇
I found a single wooden footpath, that crossed a dry creek. At first, I questioned if this “plank” would hold my weight!😳
I figured I would “go for it !”☺️
What’s the worst that could happen Lol!
All good, the bridge held…………
I continued following this trail through the forest!
I spotted hand carved wooden steps directly up ahead, and then I stopped in my tracks!😲
Hmmm……. Game Camera on the tree directly in front of Silvertop!
I backed up slowly……………
I wonder who is playing “ silvertop paparazzi?”🤔
This was where Silvertop and Liz first started hiking, over five years ago.
How time flies Lol!😇
This is also where Liz and I first heard a very pathetic meow…………….
Out from the woods, very close to where you are looking at in the last photo, limped a hurt “Baby Mountain Lion”!😽
We looked for a good home for the boy, for a couple of days, as he warmed his way into our hearts!❤️
The rest, as they say, is history!!😻

Absolutely Gorgeous Place!
Things you will never see here, though...
We do actually have a few Natural Gas pipelines, and a "Huge" plant up the shore about 20 miles that liquefies the stuff..🤔

Have a Very Wonderful rest of the week, I will be back to "normal" late next week!

Don't worry it's just the CIA keeping tabs on you! What a nice hike, great scenery, what's not to love? I've always loved the forest and hearing the wind blow through the pine trees, and the smell of pine. Nothing like it!

Sounds like Cot ended up with a good home!
