So much depends on water in the Pacific Northwest………..
From the Salmon in the rivers, the Douglas Fir trees in the Forest, and the crops in the valley far below!😊
The water “faucet” has been turned off…..😳
Now this is a double edged sword……
Silvertop has so many outside summer chores to accomplish before the Fall rains start !😅
On the other hand 90 plus Fahrenheit days can be tough on a “ Northwesterner” Lol!😇
“Liz do you think I will need my jacket today?”🤣
Hmmm….. 🥰
Before I could escape to the Mountains today, Silvertop scrapped old loose paint from the Southern side of my garage.
Prep work before I can spray paint!😊
The “key word” is southern side of my garage………….
Guys as a kid, have you ever taken a magnifier and tried to light a piece of paper on fire?😇
Silvertop felt like that piece of paper……..😳
Being so far north, winter days are shorter than most places in the Country, and summers are exactly the opposite!
The summer sun is also higher in the sky,
combine that with zero clouds, and you have a giant Silvertop burning magnifier overhead!🥵
Sunblock anyone!☺️
Sounds like it’s time to head to the Mountains………😎

Maybe do the southern side in the morning and then around 1 PM, call it quits on that side of the house. Nothing like heat sickness to knock you on your rear, dear!

So far, most forest fires are on the eastern side of United States we have been spared😊

So far the seasonal wildfires are not in Washington …no smoke !😇
Looks like a nice hike, too bad it's so hot. I tend to try and get my exercise in early before the sun comes up preferably. Always a new project, the joys of home ownership!
