Blue nitrile gloves, covered in paint………..😮
Silvertop was spray painting the second side of his walk in garage door.😅
That’s when I saw a tiny spotted puppy by my lilac bushes…….
What!……….😲
It was a newborn baby Deer!
Then behind it a SECOND newborn baby!😊
I tried to tap the camera button to capture this “ Kodak moment”, but my glove covered fingers wouldn’t trigger the camera!
Don’t you hate this guy’s……
Even the so called texting gloves never work all the time!🤔
Mom in the second photo, was standing at the edge of our road.
She was watching Silvertop, and at the same time watching for her babies to come out of the forest and follow her!😍
She was leery of Silvertop getting too close to her babies!
I backed off, and I could hear branches breaking in the thick brush!
Then before I could get a good photo, these little guys bounced through the woods!☺️
“OK Mom…….. I’ll go back to my painting, keep your babies safe!”🥰
Looks like we have a new generation of deer that are calling Silvertop’s forest home!
Usually they will come and go, but somehow our forest will be imprinted as “home”!
Next year, these babies will return here and raise another generation of deer! 🦌
As the deer disappeared into the forest, I realized how simple life is for them…………
No spray painting, or firewood stacking, they are at home in the Mountains!😇
Silvertop better get back to painting!
Maybe I can catch up with these guys later today……….in the Mountains!🤗

Life is simple for them except they have to watch out for monsters! You know, the kind with four wheels and the kind with 4 legs and fangs! I am hopeful they can dodge them all!🙀🙀🙀

Babies are always cute! I once was floating down the snake river in Idaho and a mother moose and her baby started crossing the river about 200 yards ahead of me. If was very cool to see but I was terrified the mom might see me as a threat! Mother moose can be very dangerous!
I have heard that my friend, mothers... especially a mother moose can be very protective!
The snake river is supposed to be very beautiful, I'm sure it was an awesome rafting experience!😀
