Today was “the day” ………..
My Dodge Dakota pickup has been on the schedule for repairs to the clutch “slave cylinder” for over one Month!😲
Jim’s automotive has a reputation for doing top notch work, it was worth the wait!😇
We needed to be there by 8 AM………..
Most modern vehicles have a hydraulic cylinder that controls the clutch, my trucks clutch cylinder was getting tired!😲
These parts are almost impossible to find online, but Jim’s Automotive had access to them!😇
Normally I do all my repair work but………..
“ I can wait Liz, if they have the parts, let them repair our truck!”
We waited back at home………………..
Silvertop went back up on the roof to paint while we waited……………
I painted another side of our loft, if you look closely, you can see @elizabethbit loft computer office!🥰
This is where @actifit-lamb hangs out with Mom, when she isn’t jumping up and down on the waterbed Lol!🤣
We figured the truck repairs would take several days…….if not longer!😮
So we met up with Jan for a hike!
Silvertop had his backpack in his hand when Liz “got the call”!😲
“Silvertop your truck is fixed, I will tell Jan we will hike a bit later!”🥰
Back to town we drove to pickup Silvertop’s truck!🤗
“ I was a bit worried Liz……. It’s so very nice to have my truck back!”🤗
“Silvertop Jan’s waiting, are we hiking?”🥰

In the woods, I have no experience of walking. It was tough for you to make a new track, is it not scary when you cross this track about Wild life?
It is always a concern, especially when the trail is very overgrown! That’s why we hike in a group of people……for safety!😇
Glad you got the truck fixed! Those older parts can be hard to come by anymore and new cars are so complicated you have to have a really good mechanic to deal with them. I just can't get over how green and beautiful it is up there, what a great place to live!
Crazy how parts are getting harder to find for older trucks……
I bought this one brand new in 1990 put all the miles on myself 171,000 Mostly Highway still a good truck !😊

Today was the first day that it started to warm up, and we turned on the air conditioning while I worked on the new refrigerator inside ☺️
Ohh, how's the temperature? Here, electric fans will do. AC is just expensive.
Very hot and humid today over 90°F. Very high humidity. !🥵
That's still considered cold on our end. Lol
He was a little bit better today, it was just under 80°F😊😎
