Is the sky leaking?😅
Just a 51 percent chance of rain today……………
“Liz I’m sure I can stain the siding that’s under the overhang!”🥰😇
Silvertop soon realized today wasn’t a 51 percent chance of rain day Lol!😅
Outside work scrubbed for today…..
Dark clouds circled the Mountains, it hard to believe that yesterday we had the blue skies you see in the third photo!🤔
Liz started roasting a Coffee order, and Silvertop went outside to evaluate the possibilities of today’s hiking!
Look close in the left background of the fourth photo……….
Do you see smoke?
That’s the exhaust from our Coffee roasters!😊
When the beans approach fully roasted, they “Crack” a second time.
At this time in the roast, a very coffee, a very aromatic, smoke is produced……..
It smells delicious!☺️
On shopping days, when we pass another Coffee roaster in town, Silvertop can smell the Coffee a mile off Lol!😇
I walked towards our outdoor fire pit, do you see it in the next photo?
Oops……. at the fire pit, Silvertop almost stepped in something!😳
It was a very fresh pile of Bobcat scat, filled with lots of fur!😲
Nearby we have a young tree growing out of an old Western Red Cedar, the dirt and mulch covering the ground had been disturbed!
I think Mr Bobcat has been here, he probably feels very safe in Silvertop’s woods!😻
Silvertop is happy to be able to share the forest with our furry neighbors!😽
Our friend Jan wants to hike with us at 4:45 PM…….

Which animals mostly visit your yard, that you know about of course? 🙀
We have heard cougars screaming but very rarely, late at night! They sound like a woman screaming in the dark !😳
In the daytime, bobcat, deer, opossum, and today a raccoon walked right past our patio door Lol!🤣
Lol, did the raccoon wave when passing by? (joking :)) )
Well, I think Cot waved back Lol!😼😻
He forgot to mention numerous bunnies and squirrels as well! Oh, and an occasional feral cat, however, I haven't seen him lately (nor the bunnies or squirrels) so it's possible Mr. Bobcat has had a few snacks.
Feral cat, bobcat, fishing cat, domestic cat...this world is full of cats. :))
Are the squirrels the reddish type or the grey ones?
We have reddish, grey and black.
Don't think I've ever seen a black one.
We have them. If I get the chance, I'll try to take a photo of one, but their pretty quick to hide.
It's been a critter-like day! Bears, bobcats, raccoons-what's next I wonder?!
I'm surprised they didn't line up to order coffee!

Those bobcats are shy, every now and again you might see one! I hope the rain clears out and you enjoy some fresh roasted coffee! When I live in the southwest coyotes were always a problem, they were almost pests. But you can't blame them, they were there first!
Very true about the coyotes being there first it was their land that we moved into!😀
In Colorado we had quite a few in the BLM land above us, they are quite different than the coyotes in the Pacific Northwest coyotes here are larger almost like dogs !🤔
