Time really does fly!😲
It’s hard to believe it has been over three years since Keith installed three of these handmade Cherry-Maple comment box’s, complete with wooden benches on the trails!😀
Between mowing, weed- eating, and then working on setting up the waterbed, Silvertop needed to “Sit for a spell”!😅
It was the Summer solstice, June 20, 2020…….

Many entries from Joan, our dear friend that passed away just before Christmas.😌

I started putting the electric heater, and the safety liner in early this morning, that’s when I noticed a Tweet……………..
There was a “Fire Storm” of Tweets!😲
Apparently Ledger released a new OS firmware update for the Ledger Nano X 2.2.1🤔
This update allows Ledger users to “ Opt-In” to “Ledger Recovery”.
There is also a charge for this……
Basically IF you allow this function, Ledger splits your private “Seed phrase” into three separate sections, sending two different sections to “Trusted providers”!
How do they say it, “Not you keys, not your Crypto”!😬
Sorry Ledger, Silvertop doesn’t need a big brother watching out for my private Keys Lol!🤣
By the way, the old original Ledger Nano S ( not the plus) doesn’t support this, it’s capacity is to small!😇

In 3 and a half weeks, it will be time to attend Joan's Celebration of Life picnic. That will mark almost 6 months since she passed. I miss her a lot!😿

It looks like Ledger shoot themselves in the foot as the saying goes. Even if you don't opt for that option, if you update the firmware the software will contain that option to export your keys, something that could become hackable in the future...
That’s what everyone including myself is concerned about. They keep telling us don’t worry, if you don’t opt in your OK, but……..🤔
Are you putting water in the water bed?
Yes, I am adding water as I type. I try to add it slowly so that as it fills up, I can adjust the mattress so that it is centered in the frame !😇

Yes, it’s a very nice network of trails, currently we share it with some black bears that are coming out of hibernation !😳
