The “plan” was back up on the roof scraping and caulking!
I needed to “prep” two more sections of Silvertop’s loft siding……..
Before the “Humi-dome”, started!😅
This is the Mrs. terminologies for “it’s way too hot and humid turn on the A/C Lol!”😇
Hornets everywhere!!!😳
I discovered they apparently love the hot weather!🤔
Down below, Liz had our Coffee roasters running, turning rock hard “green” Coffee beans into delicious smelling espresso beans!
Check out @elizabethbit post, she captured a photo of the Coffee smoke as it wafted across the yard outside!😊
They say it’s usually twenty degrees hotter on the roof, Silvertop can attest to that
Down below the yard looked lush and green!😊
Between the Bald-Faced Hornets, and Silvertop being in a hurry to beat the Sun/ heat coming around the side of the roof………..
Silvertop slipped!😳
My footing was fine……..but as I was scraping the Facia boards, my hand slid under my Solar panel mounting bracket.😲
Guys you know when something has gone wrong, before even looking!😬
Paparazzi Silvertop, pulled out his iPhone and snapped a bloody photo, and sent it to the Mrs roasting Coffee below!
“Silvertop, you come down here, and clean that cut out!”
Hmmm …. Yesterday I spilled paint on the shingles, today Silvertop was dripping blood!😮
Some peroxide, and a little T.L.C. From the Mrs, and I headed back up top to finish!🥰
“Alexa what’s the outside temperature?”
The outside temperature is 91 degrees Fahrenheit, Silvertop you have a heat advisory till 8PM Monday night……….
I climbed down, and called working up top for the day.
I was starting to question the second gallon of siding paint that Home Depot mixed for us…….
If you look at the small “dab” they put on the lid the old first gallon on the left, looks like the “dab” of paint on the new second gallon on the right but………
The paint mixing formulas are completely different!🤔
The Mrs called them, and they told her we could bring both gallons in tomorrow and if needed they would “swap” out, and remix us a new gallon!😇
“Liz it’s going to be 91 degrees again tomorrow, not exactly comfortable hiking weather!”😅
Dinner time, and the A/C is on……..
“Silvertop would you like an ice cold mocha Frappuccino?”🥰
That sounds delicious Liz!🤗
