Down in the Valley, Springtime has arrived!
The snow and ice has long since melted away………………..
Silvertop found the ice this morning!😳
“Silvertop, the refrigerator is up to 52 degrees!”😬
Uh…Oh!!!!
We discovered that our model of refrigerator, a very nice side by side, is prone to having the condensation water drain line clogged.
When this happens, the water backs up into the refrigerator, and then freezes!
I watched a YouTube video and apparently this is very common with several brands of refrigerators!
The “ Fix” is to remove the drain line in the back, and clean it out.
We were too far gone this morning, we needed damage control first!😳
First empty into coolers a fully stocked refrigerator!
Then armed with a hairdryer, and a hammer and chisel,
Silvertop pulled out large chunks of frozen ice!🥶
“Time was of the essence”, frozen steaks among other foods would soon be thawing!
I dismantled internal parts of the refrigerator, continuing to pull out large chunks of ice!
“ Liz we can plug the refrigerator back in, let’s fill it back up with our food before it all goes bad”!😲
On another day, under better controlled conditions, I will pull that clogged drain line out and clean it, fixing the problem!😇
“ That wasn’t expected Liz, I had to cancel today’s @actifit moderator call this morning!😮
The Mrs was going to spend the day gardening as well!🤔

Hiking is a fantastic way to get and stay healthy, and also a very good way to burn off stress!😊
Today’s blue sky day hiking, was much needed after spending the morning removing icebergs Lol!😇
Cot “ the baby Mountain Lion”, did not like all the noise and commotion Dad was making in the kitchen…………
He retreated to “HIS” water bed, for a nice long nap!😻
Hmmm………
“ Are you sure you don’t want to come hiking with us Cot?”🤣
He just yawned and went back to sleep!😻

I can't imagine cot going for hiking with you LOL. Yes I saw she was busy with her cute little tomato plant and gardening. Somehow I missed your interesting content yesterday as I was busy with some other task and flood of notification buried the post of my favourite author(you).

My stress began at 5 AM and escalated when I found the fridge! Ironically, it seemed to have cured the headache I discovered earlier this morning! I'd rather find a different cure, lol! Cot has the right idea!
