My Actifit Report Card: February 8 2023
I’ll just take the fork today!😊
Silvertop was on a “quest”, and the first step was to take the right fork!😊
Maybe I should say the “correct” fork Lol!😇
“Now all I need to do is turn left, right about here!”☺️
Are you lost yet Lol!😇
Rumors have circulated for years, in Silvertop’s neck of the woods, about an old Agate outcropping!🤔
That’s where we are going today, are you ready……………..
Silvertop is!🤗
Moss grows on everything in the Pacific Northwest, and you can walk right by something special if you don’t look close!👀
See those logs stumps in the fifth photo………..
We have arrived!😊
In the next snapshot, the moss covered hill on the right side is where hundreds of Agate’s are buried!
I looked up how Agate’s are formed, and it turns out that scientist are not really sure!😲
One theory, is empty lava air pockets, that slowly filled with silica. Some scientist believe this was done under intense, pressure and 2,000 degree plus Fahrenheit temperature!
Then some believe that pressure or temperature was not a requirement to create an Agate!🤔
Hmmm………….
Many at this location, contain a lighter colored crystal center, and then you come across a multi colored rock!😊
You can pick away at the crumbly rock hillside, and one of these round spheres will emerge!🤗
It’s like how I sculptor will tell you he just chips away at the rock that is not needed, and a work of art emerges!😇
“Liz, I think we need a rock tumbler!”🥰
You never know what you will discover in the forest……………
Or what will discover you!😻
Till tomorrow Silvertop Mike 😊

Very profound words, my friend! When I look back on all the decisions, I made in life things could’ve gone so differently for better or worse!😇😊
I believe that everything in life happens for a reason!
At some point in the future that "reason" becomes clearer 😄
So very true, my friend, I’ve seen this happening many times! It’s not until years later that you understand!😊

Do moss often appear during winter?
The Pacific Northwest is a rainforest, essentially, and moss grows everywhere!😳
Even on cars!🤣
I see. Funny that it grows in cars though. Lol
Absolutely everywhere up here. L ol😳
Most stores sell a powder that you can put on your roof that will kill the moss in the spring time 😊
Do they still thrive even at spring or summer?
Unfortunately, all year round my friend!
I wait till spring time to go to Costco for several containers of powder to sprinkle on my roof to kill the moss 😊
Ohh. So that's common. Here, algae often grow on rainy season.
