“Do you want to hike early today honey?”🥰
Liz wanted a longer hike today, up past the “High Trail”.
It has been a while……….

“After today’s hike we could grab a Latte, and drive to Harbor Freight to pickup a new gas can for the generator”😇
Sounds good Silvertop!🥰
Our friend Jan was joining us, and was waiting for the two of us at 1:30 !😊
At the Ridge top, we picked up the winding switchback trail that takes us up to one of Keith’s private trails.
Liz and Silvertop were just talking about taping for Maple syrup. As we hiked around the corner, we discovered Keith has already started his maple syrup harvesting!😊
These containers will sometimes be half full in one day!😮
He usually has a dozen or so taps running at the same time!
“Maybe we should tap some of our trees Silvertop?”🤔
The trails, and the Forest were inviting, but for today we called it a hike, and headed back downhill…………
Latte in hand, we headed to town………..
“What do you think is going on honey?”😮
Two Fire trucks and a handful of Firefighters were outside a construction site, and Harbor Freight!
“Liz I don’t know if they mind, but Silvertop paparazzi is snapping their photos!”😇
We continued inside this store to purchase that gas can……………
“Liz this gas can doesn’t have a vent for pouring the gasoline?”🤔
We both stood there trying to figure out how it worked for what felt like forever……..
One of the employees said…….
“Just to let you know this gas can has a hidden button on the spout that needs to be pressed to allow the gas to pour”!😇
Hmmm even gas cans have become high tech Lol!
“Liz….. maybe that’s why the Fire Department was outside, to make sure Silvertop knew what he was doing Lol!”😇
