Another rainy day today, and Silvertop was determined to hike!😇
I decided to take a different path………
I headed up Keith and Lynne’s long driveway……..in the rain!😅
I could hear heavy equipment, then chainsaw’s!🤔
I climbed several steep sections of road, and off in the distance I saw Keith’s John Deere tractor, and behind it was his mini excavator.
The road was blocked by a large tree that had fallen!😲
I didn’t want to disturb him, he was focused on chaining sections of a Maple tree.
He spotted me approaching, and shut off his saw……….
“Silvertop they were delivering my tractor after maintenance on it, and I got a call that my road was blocked by this fallen tree!”😲
A steady drizzling rain was falling………….
“Silvertop I’m having fun!”🤗

Keith has worked hard, and he is a very successful businessman. His company last I heard employed over 50 people before he retired!
He personally holds patents on his very popular worldwide Pizza ovens!😊
He told me in February he is upgrading all his off grid solar equipment with new lithium ion batteries!
Have Lynne text Liz, I will come up and take photos of the new installation for my post😇

Just like putting in effort on rainy days getting my steps, Keith has put in hard work to get where he is……………….

The rain storm keeps coming here. Falling trees and falling fences are everywhere. We got to spend thousands to fix the fences and even a heater damaged by rain and wind. Hope the sky run out of water soon.

We just watched a show about the beginning years of Garth Brooks, and did you know he was rejected by seven record albums, before one offered him a recording contract.
He said he was "crushed/ devastated" but he continued on.....

Up here it could be all the above, strong winds and rains. Keith has his own excavator, so he plans on this situation happening often.😳

It's nice being close to the ocean but storm surge can be scary.
Be safe, my friend! Thankfully, where I live, most of the shoreline has protected bays. Many islands protect our coastline from the open ocean.
The beach here is a gulf. They said tsunami is not possible but there are still huge warnings in the Baywalk just in case tidal surge happens.

Yes it is. Imagine you were born in 1910, and still living up to this year? You saw the World War 1 and 2, Spanish flu and Covid pandemic, and inflation surge.
So much history, so much has changed over the last hundred years or so…
Just look at technology how it has changed. people born back then would’ve have dreamed of cell phones 😊
Yes! 20 years ago, our phones are still basic. No camera, just for SMS, phone calls, and basic games.
