The “boys” have adjusted to Phoenix…..
Cyle just wants Dad to build a fire in the wood stove!😻
I left the “children” inside where its nice and warm, and I went outside to work on the driveway gate lights!😊
Cot was intently watching Phoenix’s tail wagging this morning, he was stalking that wiggling tail Lol!!😼
“Cot………… leave Phoenix’s tail alone Lol!😇”
With leading Worship yesterday, and Thanksgiving coming up this week, I haven’t been able to work on the lights…😲
Today I was able to temporarily power up both lights!🤗
To permanently power up the light on the left, I need to trench through hard pack, rock across the driveway and lay electrical conduit!
Much fun to come Lol!😇
For now, to make Silvertop, and Liz happy I ran a power cord across the driveway….
We have Lights!!🤗
With that finished, I called to Phoenix to come hike with Dad.😊
We made it to the driveway gate lights, then she put the brakes on …..HARD!😲
No amount of encouraging would entice her to hike today ………
“Ok girl you can go back inside”………
Everyone needs a “down” day, and today was hers!😍
I enjoyed a long, over 7 mile, hike today by myself. Liz had to fill in for a fellow co-worker that was going to a funeral.
“Phoenix come take a look at my last photo, it’s your “Dad”, he is hiking in the mountains of Hungary”!🥰
OK….. I’ll toss another log on the fire lazy dog Lol!😇

Lol... I'm just glad that they decided to get along, we really didn't know what would happen when we started babysitting our grand dog!!😳😇
Interesting that she said 'no' to the hike, but her little paws might not like chip and seal. Unfortunately, it's a required trek to get to that nice, soft forest trail!

Both of these lights are connected to my solar electric, so they run basically on free electric!
Each has it's own independent dusk to dawn/ motion sensor. During the night these LED's dim down to 30% brightness to save electric,. and when someone/ or something comes by they instantly power back up to 100% 😀
I just need to trench across the driveway ( Hard packed rock) to connect the electric together permanently..😇

I can imagine it's funny. Cats and dogs used to hate each other. At least they are in peace for a while.
Very true I have seen them nose to nose, we didn't know if one of the cats would strike out at the dog but they are getting along just fine!😀

He and his wife are over 110 miles away. They are so busy with their jobs so at Christmas time they need to stay close at home so we will come visit them and spoil Phoenix lol!!😀
