This is the house of one of my neighbors. I found him out in the cold today stringing Christmas lights!☺️
I was hiking with Phoenix and stopped to chat…….
He has a beautiful Weimaraner dog.
I had to do an Internet search to see how this dog breed was correctly pronounced!🤔
I will let you search on line for yourself Lol!☺️
My Mother was first Generation American of Austrian Hungarian descent.🥰
So Silvertop grew up pronouncing this dog breed a bit differently than what I found on line Lol!😇
I wasn’t sure how the two dogs would react to each other, so I quickly scooped up Phoenix into my arms!😍
“How much food has Liz been feeding you girl, you are heavy!”😲
“The Christmas lights look nice my friend, I will snap a photo after dark for my post!”😊
We hiked onward, it was good to put Phoenix back down Lol!😅
Phoenix wasn’t in the mood to hike today.
If you remember from yesterday’s post it takes getting her to the steep hills before she puts the pedal to the floor Lol!😇
So we detoured to my Canadian neighbors cabin. He is apparently going to sell this cabin to his son, Grant will be missed!
It is rustic, I see he has plywood over the front door……..
Probably to keep “Honest people Honest” , as the saying goes!
Phoenix was happy again, so we continued up to the “High Trail”!😊
Liz was at a friends Baby Shower, and as I stepped into our mud room and unleashed Phoenix, the Mrs pulled into the driveway……..
“I need a hike Silvertop, are we taking Phoenix?”🥰
I think she needs her nap, we just hiked several miles Liz……😅
The last photo texted from Hungary to us, is our youngest son Bill with his Hungarian Brother in Law Adam!🥰
“Bill……. I want one of those, do you think it would protect me from Mountain Lions? Lol!😇🥰
“Liz I think I hear Phoenix snoring !!”💤

Phoenix has many interesting sleep habits! Snoring.....very LOUDLY, for one. She dreams and gets physically involved in the dream! She twitches and even softly barks in her sleep! I wonder.........what does she dream about?
You are going to miss those hikes with her. We only have one week left before she goes home. Then what? 🐶🐶🐶🤗😘💞🐶🐶🐶🙀
It's a pretty little house. I'm guessing it gets cold during the winter!

Our road has many different types of homes, from modern expensive homes, to rustic cabins @silversaver888 .
This cabin is very rustic, Grant only uses this when he comes down from Canada on the weekend. It's kind of a getaway sort of cabin......
I would think it would be very cold if someone tried to live year-round in it. It would take a lot of remodeling to make it into a real home!😇😀

I just talked to Liz, and she said that the photo she put in her post was a different house down in town. Some of the houses look very similar!😀

It's interesting there are many different styles of homes up here, some are small some are very large and expensive! It's quite a diverse economy!!😀
Same here. There are really nice ones, other in the middle, while others are in slums.
I guess that's the same all around the world you always have the poor and rich my friend.....

We do have slums down in town, there are homeless people, they live outside with no shelter! I am not sure why they choose to do this, because there are government agencies that will provide them with food and shelter! Many are addicted to drugs and they must become drug free to live in a shelter..
Some people here who lives in slums are given money or even housing for relocations. Too bad they will sell what the government has given them, and go back to the slums. Then they'll play victim when houses are being demolished. Mainstream media will pick the story up if they are not in support of the ruler, and add drama to their reports. Lol
We have the same situation here… People will beg for money for food or shelter, then they will spend it on drugs or alcohol and start all over again!!!
Awww... Too bad. I never thought there's such a situation there.
It is getting very common up here… Very wealthy people in very poor people in the same town...
