Having lived almost a decade in the High Desert of Colorado at close to 8,000 feet above sea level, I’m kind of liking this weather!😇
With the new garage door finally installed, today was a cleanup and prep day for the electrical outlet for the electric garage door opener!😊
It should be delivered Monday!🤗
I read this morning that they are pushing out a software update to freeze the hackers accounts in regards to the BNB token hack!😲
Two million BNB tokens we’re hacked, at a value of over $562 million dollars!
Over half $1 billion dollars!!!!😳
Looks like the BNB price is holding at $282.78 up 1.1% for the day!😇
Take a deep breath, this is the land of Crypto Lol!

Midnight sun? Isn't it like in Alaska, sun is visible even at midnight? Hehe
Where we live are latitude is 48° so in the summertime we have daylight till 1030 at night!! In the winter time darkness comes about 4 o'clock in the afternoon at the shortest day of the year....
Oh. I can't imagine daylight until 10:30 or even 4pm. At least we use to have daylight until 6 at cold season or until 6:30 on summer.
Think that's the advantage of the living closer to the equator! I think you have a much better, I would rather not have the drastic swings of a lot of daylight and very little.....
Yeah. But it might surely be summer all year for you. Hehe

If there's snow in northern hemisphere, we speak chilly weather. Excited now. Hehe
So far, we have not had any snow in the mountains, but it is coming......
You mean mountains will be snow-capped?
Yes, we have glaciers on the high peaks that are snow covered 365 days a year. When the snow comes down to lower elevations, that's when it covers the mountains that are near us!😀
I see. I'm curious how it looks like. That's me being in the tropics. Lol
My son was on ski patrol up in the mountains. He tells me that when the glaciers melt sometimes they find people that have been lost for years buried in the melting ice..........
That's really sad. Wondering if their family even looked out for them. The bodies are frozen?
Yes unfortunately........ My son was telling me that people have a heart attack in the mountains, no one finds their body until years later........
That was sad. Do they get to know the person's identity? For sure there are IDs.
Sometimes they do it depends on how long the body has been up in the mountains it is very sad......

They call them "flatlanders", people are unprepared for the cold weather and for the thin air, and the rugged environment! I had a friend of mine that visited us at 8000 feet and had a heart attack!!!
That's pretty bad. 8000 feet is pretty high. I don't think I can do that too. I get tired easily.
8000 feet was where our house was, the mountains went up to 14,000 in the valley went down to 7000!😀
Wouldn't it affect your hearing going up the mountains. While we are traveling up to Baguio City, I felt like I can't hear that much unless I'll yawn. That way, my ears will clear up. Hehe
Yes you need to yawn to clear your eardrums. I am very used to that being a pilot!!😀

It is a lot of fun, very exciting, never could get the misses to go up and fly with me Lol!😀

I'm scared of the small aircraft. It's as if it can be easily blown by the wind. Hehe
That's very true, it will bounce you around! I took a friend up years ago and hit a downdraft in clipboards went flying and hit the ceiling!!!
Oh! I don't think I'll ever ride that one. Unless it's a commercial huge plane. Lol
