My Actifit Report Card: July 30 2022

Yum……..hiking snacks!😊
The Thimble Berries are delicious!
“Hiking at 10:30 AM Silvertop?”🥰
Everyone wanted to start early and beat today’s heat!🥵
“Liz we can start up Keith and Lynne’s gravel road. Then hike up the Floor trail and connect with the High trail, it will be shady this time of the morning!”
Jan said if we hike early she wanted to hike as well!😊
We were hiking in reverse to follow the shade of the forest!😇
The third photo is the “Floor Trail”, look how green this shady trail is……….
We followed this into the deep forest, and crested on the backside of the “High Trail”.
Silvertop detoured to check on Keith and Lynne’s house it sits nearby on a lookout.
They are both very talented musicians, and their band is playing tonight in Bellingham.
They have a condo in town, and they had a mini-split heat pump installed last summer. I’m sure these guys are staying close to tonight’s “gig “, and enjoying some cool A/C !🤗
Down the High Trail we started………
In the second to last photo you can see the field turning brown from the heat……
By now, down at lower elevation’s it was cooking hot!🥵
“Home just in time for lunch Liz, so very nice to hike early!”🥰
