My Actifit Report Card: February 26 2022

Not to worry, Silvertop is not trespassing!😇
The rain was spitting on and off today as Liz and Silvertop started today’s hike.😅
Saturday was here, and I was looking forward to hiking the new trails with the Mrs!🥰
“Liz we can skip some of our regular hiking trails, that way we can spend more time on the new trails, I want to get to the bottom!😊
I discovered the video recording sign on an open gate at the bottom where a service road connects to a Mountain highway.
Keith and Lynne’s property starts at this road. This sign is to deter people from driving up the gravel road and then I discovered why…………..
If you follow Silvertop’s post you probably remember the hike to the “Phoenix” cell tower. We are now hiking on the other side of the Mountain, and this is the access road up to that same cell tower!
The rain was making a muddy hike on these just cut dirt trails. Our youngest was texting from the Eastern Side of the Cascades he was out on the ice fishing with his supervisor Phoenix!😊
Fourteen inches thickness of ice!
He said it was noisy!!!🤔
Hmmm……..
Silvertop as a kid grew up ice skating on the neighborhood’s frozen pond.
Standing with a group of ten to twelve kids out on the ice, I can still hear the sound of the ice cracking as we all quickly skated away in all directions!😳
Mom was glad when he texted that they were all off the ice!🥰
The second to last photo was at the bottom looking back up. Our normal hiking trails are far above, deep in the forest of Douglas firs.
Time to climb back uphill, even on a cloudy rainy day an awesome hike!😊
