The Deep Freeze has begun!!!š„¶
Many thanks to all the snowplow drivers working long hours to keep our roads safe!š¤
Now if they would only plow Silvertopās road Lol!š¤£
Nine degrees at noon today, my Daughter in law saw -11 degrees Fahrenheit last night!š„¶
In the Northwest thatās cold guys!
Silvertop lived for years at 8,000Ft in the Colorado Rockies. Eighteen inches of snow, and forty below zero was a common occurrence. No snow closure days for the kids in school, life went on as normalā¦ā¦š
Working near the ski resort back then, I have crawled out the companyās window with a shovel, and dug the snow away from the completely covered window.
It actually blew IN the window sending an avalanche of snow cascading into the building!š³
Normal snow days, happy snow days!š
In the Northwest, a cold norāeaster blows, garbage pickup stops, and our young neighbors up the road in the tiny house are crossing their fingers that the electric stays on to run their pellet stoveā¦ā¦heat for the family!
Two more days in the deep freezer and this storm will pass!āŗļø
Silvertop is still on Christmas Vacationā¦ā¦.sleeping in way too late Lol!āŗļø
Today was cleaning up from Christmas, and tossing another log on the fire!
The joys of being empty nesters!
Days like today are why Silvertop is a firewood hoarder Lol!
We are preparedā¦ā¦ā¦
That was today, I am hoping to pull out the snowshoeās tomorrow!
Maybe just a little bit warmer!š

Snowshoeing more than likely will be Tuesday, when the temps are mid 20's! Only a crazy person would go out in the teens or lower!! ššš
