We really needed this, the second day of Sunshine!😎
The Mrs ventured downhill, today is normally a work day for her.
Nothing is normal at the moment!🙃
Jan our friend had texted that Main Street in town was open, the flood waters are starting to recede.
I hiked uphill to see how the valley below looked.
The second photo, with the lake, is the main highway to our local Canadian border crossing.
It is underwater, and closed to traffic.
It’s hard to see but car’s keep driving through this closed section of highway!
They said it is a $500.00 fine if you drive past the barricades!😲
Liz said several cars had been swept away by the very dangerous fast moving flood waters!
Today you could see these cars, out in fields bordering the roads!😳
Up higher in the Mountains a light covering of snow is on the Mountain peaks. The temperature has been above freezing, with rain in most of the Mountains, and all that rain added to the downpours in the valley, for a worse case storm scenario!😮
Late Fall……..
As I hiked onward, I was surprised how quickly all of our beautiful Fall color was gone.
Late Fall…..early Winter!
The temperature is starting to dip below freezing, and Thanksgiving and Christmas are coming fast!
I’m not sure how that happened Lol!🤣

It was strange driving into town; everything was the same but nothing was the same! Very sad!

Most of the fall color is on the forest floor now! The cycle goes on.......😘🤗❤️
