Hello, community! When my husband saw that this week in the #hivetopchef theme "Ribs" (rules here), he ran to the store to buy them. He said he immediately imagined their taste and wished I had marinated them in honey. I used to cook like that and it's very tasty. And I remembered that on the Internet I came across a cool video recipe for cooking ribs. I tried to find it in the saved bookmarks and unfortunately it was not there. So I decided to improvise from the products I had at home.

So we bought fresh pork ribs. The price of ribs is 139 UAH per kg.And to them a bottle of red wine.

For the marinade I used:

  • soy sauce - 5 tbsp.
  • 1 apple (made pure)
  • honey - 2 tbsp.
  • tomato ketchup - 2 tbsp.
  • 1 onion,
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • mixture of dried herbs (basil, oregano, marjoram, rosemary)
  • black pepper, sweet paprika,
  • mustard - 1 tsp
  • lemon juice - 2 tbsp.
  • salt

1. Wash and dry the ribs with a kitchen towel. 2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, tomato ketchup, honey, lemon juice, mustard, a mixture of herbs, salt, pepper and apple puree. 3. Cut onions and garlic and stew in a frying pan for 2 minutes. Add our marinade to the onion and simmer on low heat for another 1 minute. 4. Cover the pan with foil. Spread the ribs on foil (it is better to take a stronger one so that it does not tear easily) and generously zyashchut on both sides with marinade. cover with foil on top and bake in the oven at 200 degrees for 1.5 hours. You can add a little water to the pan. After 1.5 hours, open the ribs (remove the foil), reduce the oven by 160 degrees and put in the oven for another 20-30 minutes so that they turn brown.1.

If your sauce does not boil and does not burn, then pour it over the ribs.I served them with couscous and lettuce. They turned out juicy, sweet taste and very well separated from the bones. It's good that there weren't many of them, otherwise we would have run out.
