RE: Our New Birdie! Meet Skyler.

I think that since most of the Top Hive Witness (and #HiveEngine Witness) node operators apparently don't support Hive token tipping bots (or Hive bots which, in general, frequently publish comments or send tokens), Hive bot operators are on their own to make their bots catch up with the Witness node updates. 🤔🤯🤯

That's a very sad state of affairs, and yep, bot operators are on their own, though at least they hage each other. You have a very confusing double 'don't' there. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

I am thinking of a joint Hive Witness node operated together by Hive token tipping bot owners and operators! 🤔🧘‍♂️😎

Anyway, thanks for the correction with the don't word! 🤗🤓 That correction made your "autocorrect" sneak a hage word on your comment though. 🤔🤯🤯🤣😂

Hrmmm...that's an interesting idea, though I suppose if would be for those that don't have their own witnesses.

Sure thing, and of course. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

It's !INDEED more likely for Hive token tipping bot operators who don't have any Hive Witness node yet to participate in such joint project for a Hive Witness node, since someone who is already running a Witness node is less likely to get support for yet another node. 🤔🤓 Imagine someone running a total of 30 Hive Witness nodes, and requests votes for each of them! 🤯💸😆😅

Yep, and one individual running multiple nodes is a centralization of control, which would be very bad, so it would be unlikely to work. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

It's more appropriate for a Hive Witness node operator to host their node at a machine that they fully control for the node to be considered decentralized. 🤔🤯 There are some hosting providers which provide Hive Witness node hosting (such as #Privex) at discounted prices, though while better (or more accurately, less worse) than mainstream giant hosting providers, they are arguably not decentralized enough because multiple people on Hive (with at least some dev knowledge) host their Witness nodes there. 🤯🤓

That's part of why I won't run a witness or Hive-Engine node unless I owned and controlled the hardware. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

I got confused again with the witness if Hive-Engine node on your comment there. 🤔🤯

Anyway, I wonder if you or @borniet would ever host a Hive (and/or #HiveEngine) Witness node. 🧘‍♂️😅

Corrected.

Bjorn already runs both a Hive-Engine and a witness node. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

I have set @savvyplayer as voting proxy, which means that my Hive account automatically "copies" their Hive Witness and Hive Proposal votes. 😎 While I saw them vote for @botlord as Hive Witness some time ago, they might have forgotten to vote for the @botlord #HiveEngine Witness node too. 🤔🤯 !HOPE that this comment tagging them is enough to remind them to vote for the HE Witness too! 🤗😏

I noticed that @savvyplayer has already voted for @botlord as #HiveEngine Witness too, but both of us don't have any WORKERBEE for our votes to be of any weight. 🤔🤯 It's like curating with exactly zero total Hive Power !INDEED! 🤯😅

Oh good, and I feel ya, I don't have usable quantities of WORKERBEE yet either. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Feel free to vote, it runs under the account @botlord ;-)

I have set @savvyplayer as my proxy for voting for Hive Witness nodes and Hive Funding Proposals, and they have voted for your witness node as well as for your #HiveEngine node. 😎😏

While @savvyplayer (which is my voting proxy) has voted for the @botlord #HiveEngine Witness node (as well as the primary layer Hive Witness node), both of us have zero WORKERBEE tokens (either liquid or staked), so we only add to the number of votes without increasing your node's ranking on the Hive Engine second-layer network. 🤔🤯😅

No worries ;-) I already appreciate the support ;-)
And if you or @savvyplayer do get to hold some WORKERBEE (hint! hint!) the vote will have some extra ranking power as well!
I'll just wait here and have a !BEER in the meantime ;-)

I just said on my previous comment that I and @savvyplayer don't have any WORKERBEE tokens at all, so our votes don't increase your #HiveEngine Witness node's ranking. 🤔🤯 It's also !WEIRD to find out that neither my nor @savvyplayer's Hive Engine wallets ever got "touched" by the WORKERBEE token (in other words, no incoming or outgoing WORKERBEE token transactions at all). 🤯😆😅

I know what you said, I read it correctly, and I replied that I appreciate the support, and that "If you or @savvyplayer do get to hold some WORKERBEE", the ranking would improve.
I was expressing a possible future ;-)
It is indeed very well possible that you don't own any WORKERBEE, and it has never touched your wallet. AFAIK, you can only buy them, or receive them. Are they useful? Yes, for mining BEE, and for giving Hive-Engine witness votes ;-)
Owning BEE does come with its own uses btw, if you delegate it to @bee.voter it earns you weekly Hive.
