Yes, that could work in terms of logistics. So far all investments have gone into Hive, and I have several more to do, so 'spare' money for it is a bit challenging. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Well, I've worked with what I've had available, and that I've found useful. I don't own a lot of physical things any more. I did just realize, however, that I could acquire gold and silver on Qortal. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I imagine so. I haven't looked at the stores yet, but I've seen people talking about them. I know one sells goldbacks, which is kind of cool. Well, I don't know about most, but multiple other crypto assets can be used in Qortal. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

With "goldbacks", are you referring to gold that looks like paper like what @gratefuleveryday published? 🤯 That looks like a good way to somehow represent QORT tokens in the form of USD. 🤓

People could easily assume that Bitcoin (at least in the form of Lightning) is supported as one of the "other crypto assets" on #Qortal. 😅

Yep, that's correct, and they're quite beautiful. I know a few people that are collecting them.

BTC is an asset that has a wallet on Qortal, so yep, it can be used, though there is no lightning network involved, which is why people on Qortal don't generally use BTC for payments. LTC is much more heavily used. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Since #Qortal has a wallet support for BTC, then that should mean there will be no need for the Lightning Network within the Qortal platform because sending between BTC wallets internally on Qortal will have minimum to zero fees. 🤯😅

I don't think that's true, since even though there is BTC support, it's hardly ever used, because BTC fees are way too high. LTC is far preferred. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

When the time comes I would start trying to host a #Qortal node, it would not be on a rented VPS because it would both cost a lot and would also come with less security !INDEED. 🧘‍♂️😅

In general, any "sovereignty-driven node" (such as a Hive Witness or #HiveEngine Witness node) that requires security should not be hosted on any rented server !INDEED. 🧘‍♂️🤓
