Yes. She probably disliked me because she thought I was slow.

I remember the police showing up and taking her away. My mom told me later that the school bailed her but she lost her job.

No wonder you recall it - a terrible betrayal, when someone you are asked to trust hurts you like that.

It was really terrible that it instilled fear in me and I told my mom I wanted to be home schooled. I feared I was going to meet another bad teacher.
