Healthy Food: Cayenne Pepper

Everyone knows that vegetable consumption is essential and that many vegetables have fantastic health benefits, but today I will talk about the "TNT" of vegetables. This spicy pepper, incorporated with your diet, can help you stay focused, and at the top of your game. Cayenne, or capsicum annuum, is a red pepper grown in different parts of Asia, North America, and Africa. Such American states as Louisiana and New Mexico are well renowned for their cayenne. It is known not only for the healthiness, but the spice as well, once called violent fruit! You can find it in capsules and in the kitchen, whole or powdered. Sprinkle these into your chicken noodle soup, or your tea. The cayenne pepper can be fun to eat with bold friends as a daring game of chicken, but don’t bite off more than you can chew…You may want to have a cold glass of milk for in a few short seconds, You will feel the impact!

This pepper, like most of its cousins, is rich in the amazing vitamin "A" which affects many parts of the body such as the eyes, bones and teeth, skin and hair, and some other parts as well. some studies show cancer killing affects in many regions of your body. It may also be able to prevent a heart attack only minutes away! It directly affects the metabolism, and helps to adjust the blood pressure to normal levels. So if you have heart problems as many Americans do these days, you may want to try to include a little spice in your diet. I call this "TNT" because it blasts away sinuses and clears your circulatory and respiratory systems out with a blast of flavor. Makes sense to me! Make salsa, chili, tea, or even pur yourself a glass of cayenne water once a day and you will be on your way to becomming super healthy thanks to this super food!

What do I do? I may not be a doctor, but I think that tea is extremely healthy, so brewing some nice green or white tea and stirring in a little cayenne should be perfect. Chili, however, prepared well can be a healthy dish, and can fit into a tight budget. My family may not have much money at all, but we can always enjoy a warm giant potful of good homemade chili, made of mostly all natural ingredients. Tea, by the way, is well worth the money and makes a fantastic substitute for coffee, but as I know, most people need their cup of joe in the morning!
