Government of El Salvador will give each citizen free $30 worth of bitcoin

Being the first country to adopt bitcoin as a legal tender, the government has decided to give every citizen $30 worth of bitcoin to boost its adoption. It was said that almost of 70% of their citizen are financially excluded from everything and they don’t have a bank account. So this Bitcoin adoption is a good way to introduce them into the financial technology. This is a president that has his citizens at heart. So the government decided that any citizen that installs the bitcoin wallet app gets $30 worth of bitcoin.

This wallet will obviously work with their cell phone and the president told its citizens that you don’t need a cell plan for the action. While reading all these, I had a little smile and tears, this is because , the president knows what is best for the country and he is trying his best to make life easier and better for the country. Unlike some countries like Nigeria that their president always wants to make life miserable for them.

This seems like a airdrop for a country. Funny enough it is. This entire bitcoin airdrop to its citizens is to make them aware of bitcoin and make the people happy.
