Una noche de euros, se pudo probar por primera vez el Ark Nova. Detalló:

One euro night, the Ark Nova could be tested for the first time. I detailed:

ARK NOVA

Un juego complejo en donde los jugadores manejan su propio zoológico. En cada turno usarán una de 5 acciones principales posibles para conseguir cartas, animales, construir recintos, obtener dinero, asociarse, etc. El objetivo es crear un zoológico con el mayor atractivo para el público y amigable ecológicamente.

A complex game where players manage their own zoo. In each turn they will use one of 5 possible main actions to get cards, animals, build enclosures, get money, partner up, etc. The goal is to create a zoo with the highest public appeal and ecological friendliness.

Las cartas son variadas con un buen diseño de iconos para no perderse. Aun así, esta primera partida ha servido más para entender el juego ya que hay bastante por hacer. Es un juego que gana bastante por su variedad de cartas que permiten diversas estrategias.

The cards are varied with a good design of icons not to get lost. Even so, this first game has served more to understand the game as there is quite a lot to do. It is a game that wins quite a lot for its variety of cards that allow different strategies.

Me ha gustado bastante y espero una pronta segunda partida.

I liked it a lot and I hope for a second game soon.

TERRAFORMING MARS: ARES EXPEDITION

Terraforming Mars debe ser uno de los mejores juegos de mesa de los últimos años; sin embargo, es un juego que puede tomar bastante tiempo y puede llegar a ser demasiado complejo para novatos. Esta versión soluciona ambos problemas.

Terraforming Mars has to be one of the best board games of the last few years; however, it is a game that can be quite time consuming and can become too complex for novices. This version solves both problems.

Como en el juego original, deberemos con cartas ir terraformando Marte, construyendo océanos, subiendo la temperatura, aumentando el oxígeno y plantando árboles. En cada turno debemos elegir una fase de 5, de la cual obtendremos un beneficio adicional. Todas las fases elegidas serán jugadas por todos los jugadores. La estrategia como siempre puede ser variada.

As in the original game, we must use cards to terraform Mars, building oceans, raising the temperature, increasing oxygen and planting trees. In each turn we must choose a phase of 5, from which we will obtain an additional benefit. All the chosen phases will be played by all players. The strategy as always can be varied.

Esta versión más sencilla me ha gustado, pero creo que debo probarla unas cuantas veces para sacar una mejor conclusión.

I liked this simpler version, but I think I need to try it a few times to draw a better conclusion.

BEYOND THE SUN

Este juego ya lo he probado varias veces en Boardgamearena. Es la primera vez que lo pruebo en físico. Es un juego un tanto peculiar en mecánicas. Es un juego que simula la exploración espacial, en donde los jugadores obtendrán puntos de diversas formas, desde colonizar planetas hasta obtener ciertos logros.

I have already tried this game several times on Boardgamearena. It is the first time I try it in physical form. It is a somewhat peculiar game in mechanics. It is a game that simulates space exploration, where players will get points in different ways, from colonizing planets to obtaining certain achievements.

Las reglas son variadas y me dificulta resumirlas, pero en general se trata de tomar una de las diversas acciones que se encuentran en el tablero, que permitirán mejorar tus opciones de juego, ya sea con una mayor producción de recursos, colonizando planetas u obtener nuevas tecnologías.

The rules are varied and it is difficult for me to summarize them, but in general it is about taking one of the various actions found on the board, which will allow you to improve your game options, either with a greater production of resources, colonizing planets or obtaining new technologies.

Es entretenido pero creo que se acaba demasiado rápido, o al menos siento que no logró ni la mitad de cosas que uno desea hacer.

It's entertaining but I think it's over too quickly, or at least I feel like it didn't accomplish half of the things you want to do.

CARTOGRAPHERS

Un juego en donde se irá dibujando un mapa para completar ciertas demandas y obtener la mayor cantidad de puntos. Cada jugador hará de cartógrafo. En cada turno una carta se mostrará con bloques y de cierto tipo. Ese bloque debe ser puesto en nuestro mapa personal. El objetivo es que al final de una ronda, es conseguir los mejores patrones para obtener ciertos puntos. También hay cartas que permiten interferir el juego de los otros jugadores.

A game where you will be drawing a map to complete certain demands and get the most points. Each player plays the role of a cartographer. In each turn a card will be shown with blocks of a certain type. That block must be placed on our personal map. The goal is that at the end of a round, is to get the best patterns to get certain points. There are also cards that allow to interfere the game of the other players.

Es un juego sencillo, pero no tan rápido como podría parecer al comienzo, ya que el proceso de decidir dónde poner los bloques y dibujarlos toma su tiempo. Uno puede ponerse creativo con el dibujo.

It is a simple game, but not as fast as it might seem at first, as the process of deciding where to put the blocks and drawing them takes time. One can get creative with drawing.

Me gusta, pero necesito más partidas para entender mejor su estrategia.

I like it, but I need more games to understand its strategy better.
