Una sesión de varios juegos nuevos para mi. Detallo:

Skulls of Sedlec

Un juego sencillo del editor Button Shy, son juegos de cartas que vienen en una billetera. Se busca puntuar formando una pirámide con las cartas, hay varias formas de puntuar. En cada turno se juega una carta o se elige una para la mano.

A simple game from the publisher Button Shy, they are card games that come in a wallet. You seek to score by forming a pyramid with the cards, there are several ways to score. In each turn you play a card or choose one for your hand.

Es fácil de aprender y da para bastantes partidas. Me gusto.

It is easy to learn and gives for many games. I liked it.

The Red Cathedral

Un juego euro, que mezcla dados con control de áreas. En cada turno tenemos acciones que nos permitirán recolectar recursos, construir partes de una catedral o adornos. Estas construcciones se encuentran en diversas columnas que nos darán puntos, pero que si poseemos la mayoría de cada columna, obtendremos más puntos al final de la partida.

A euro game, that mixes dice with area control. In each turn we have actions that allow us to collect resources, build parts of a cathedral or decorations. These constructions are in different columns that will give us points, but if we have most of each column, we will get more points at the end of the game.

Puede ser un poco confuso al comienzo, pero luego ya se entiende el proceso de cada turno. Me pareció bastante divertido, y creo que con más partidas sabré cuales son las mejores estrategias de juego.

It can be a bit confusing at first, but then you understand the process of each turn. I found it quite fun, and I think that with more games I will know what are the best game strategies.

Santorini

Ya tenia tiempo que no jugábamos abstractos en físico. Santorini es un juego abstracto que le agrega una temática de dioses. En cada turno debemos mover a uno de nuestros personajes y construir una parte de una casa. El objetivo es ser el primero en llegar al tercer piso de una construcción.

It's been a while since we played physical abstracts. Santorini is an abstract game that adds a god theme. In each turn we must move one of our characters and build a part of a house. The goal is to be the first to reach the third floor of a building.

Se puede jugar con reglas adicionales, con poderes; también se puede jugar en equipos de 2 vs 2. Son reglas simples pero puede tomar tiempo tomar una decisión en cada turno. Al tener bastantes dioses con diversos poderes, permite una buena rejugabilidad. Se puede jugar en Boardgamearena.

It can be played with additional rules, with powers; it can also be played in teams of 2 vs 2. The rules are simple but it can take time to make a decision each turn. By having quite a few gods with various powers, it allows for good replayability. It can be played on Boardgamearena.

Amerigo

Stefan Feld es un diseñador enfocado en crear euros en donde hay diversas maneras de obtener puntos; este juego no es la excepción. Es un juego de 5 fases. En cada fase hay 7 rondas. Al inicio de cada ronda se lanza cubitos de un color en una torre, al caer saldrán ciertos cubos que determinará las posibles acciones y la cantidad de los mismos.

Stefan Feld is a designer focused on creating euros where there are several ways to get points; this game is no exception. It is a 5-phase game. In each phase there are 7 rounds. At the beginning of each round you throw cubes of a color in a tower, when they fall certain cubes will come out that will determine the possible actions and the amount of them.

Es un juego en que se trata de explorar un mapa, coleccionar diversos objetos, evitar piratas, obtener bonificaciones, etc. Hay bastantes estrategias posibles, me parece un excelente juego.

It's a game about exploring a map, collecting different objects, avoiding pirates, getting bonuses, etc. There are quite a few possible strategies, I think it is an excellent game.
