Un clásico en el mundo cinematográfico, es hacerle una secuela a una película antigua, de la que incluso ya pasaron décadas. Es el caso de Top Gun, estrenada en 1986, que nos muestra la historia de una escuela de pilotos de combate. En el 2022 se estrenó la secuela. Su director es Joseph Kosinski.

Sinopsis: Muchos años después de los eventos de la primera película. Volvemos a encontrarnos con el capitán Pete Mitchell, Maverick. Luego de una temeridad del protagonista, es traslado a un lugar donde deberá entrenar a pilotos de élite, para realizar una misión casi imposible.

Synopsis: Many years after the events of the first film. We meet again with Captain Pete Mitchell, Maverick. After a recklessness of the protagonist, he is transferred to a place where he must train elite pilots, to perform an almost impossible mission.

Lo que podemos sacar a inicios de la película es que Pete ha pasado su vida militar realizando muchas acciones que no le han permitido avanzar en su carrera, siendo considerado revoltoso. Aun así, sus habilidades son grandes y el conocer de primera mano lo que se necesita para ser un piloto de élite, le servirá para ser un gran guía.

What we can take away from the beginning of the film is that Pete has spent his military life doing many actions that have not allowed him to advance in his career, being considered unruly. Still, his skills are great and knowing firsthand what it takes to be an elite pilot will serve him well as a great guide.

Por otro lado, también veremos a nuevos y antiguos personajes que harán más dramática esta misión, como el hijo de su antiguo compañero Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw. Eso sí, es bastante secuencial siendo ese su punto flojo, con algunas escenas románticas innecesarias.

On the other hand, we will also see new and old characters that will make this mission more dramatic, such as the son of his former partner Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw. Of course, it is quite sequential being that its weak point, with some unnecessary romantic scenes.

El gran punto e impresionante, son sin duda las escenas de acción, desde el inicio de la película, los entrenamientos, los retos y la gran misión final. Todo el tramo final es excelente, si bien uno puede suponer lo que va a ocurrir, no deja de ser impresionante las secuencias de vuelo. La fotografía funciona mucho en estas buenas escenas, con un buen sonido.

The great and impressive point is undoubtedly the action scenes, from the beginning of the movie, the training, the challenges and the great final mission. The whole final stretch is excellent, although one can guess what is going to happen, the flight sequences are still impressive. The cinematography works very well in these good scenes, with good sound.

La actuación de Tom Cruise sigue siendo notable, es indudable su carisma. En la música encontramos una gama de canciones funcionales, e incluso una canción con Lady Gaga.

Tom Cruise's performance continues to be remarkable, his charisma is undeniable. In the music we find a range of functional songs, and even a song with Lady Gaga.

Esta película vale oro por sus secuencias de acción, pero que no deja de tener una interesante historia por contar. Recomendable.

This film is worth gold for its action sequences, but it still has an interesting story to tell. Recommended.
