The Boys es una de las mejores series que se han visto en los últimos años. Aprovechando la moda de los superhéroes, le dio una mirada más crítica y dura, al mito del héroe con poderes. En esta ocasión tenemos una serie animada de la serie, que ahonda más en su universo. Estrenada el 2022 en Amazon Prime.
The Boys is one of the best series seen in recent years. Taking advantage of the superhero craze, it took a more critical and hard look at the myth of the hero with powers. This time we have an animated series of the series, which delves deeper into its universe. Premiered in 2022 on Amazon Prime.
Sinopsis: Nos encontramos con una serie animada, en donde cada episodio nos muestra aspectos del universo de la serie “The Boys”. Desde situaciones no vistas antes de los personajes principales, hasta historias totalmente originales.
Synopsis: We find ourselves with an animated series, where each episode shows us aspects of the universe of the series "The Boys". From previously unseen situations of the main characters, to totally original stories.
Cada episodio tiene una animación particular, pasando desde el corto animado tipo Looney Tunes, pasando por estilos anime, comic e incluso más realistas. La mayoría es cruda, con el clásico gore que vemos en la serie principal, pero varían en su toque de comedia.
Each episode has a particular animation, going from the Looney Tunes type animated short, passing through anime, comic and even more realistic styles. Most are crude, with the classic gore we see in the main series, but vary in their comedic touch.
Lo interesante es sin duda ver que han aprovechado bastante estos episodios para agrandar el contexto de la serie. Uno de mis capítulos favoritos es donde muestran a los niños no deseados, de unos padres que querían hijos con poderes, y cómo toman venganza. También en un capítulo podemos ver la primera misión de Homelander y como conoce a Black Noir.
The interesting thing is certainly to see that they have taken advantage of these episodes to enlarge the context of the series. One of my favorite episodes is where they show the unwanted children of parents who wanted children with powers, and how they take revenge. Also in one episode we get to see Homelander's first mission and how he meets Black Noir.
La duración de cada capítulo es corto, alrededor de los 12-14 min. Esto lo hace más fácil de acabar todo en una sola sesión. En animación algunos destacan más que otros, pero ninguno representa una gran innovación.
The length of each chapter is short, around 12-14 min. This makes it easier to finish everything in one sitting. In animation some stand out more than others, but none represent a great innovation.
Si te gusta la serie The Boys, no puedes dejar de ver sus cortos. Están divertidos.
