Si bien en mi vida he visto demasiado anime, nunca había visto la serie Doraemon o leído su manga, así que esta ha sido una buena oportunidad para conocer la historia de este gato del futuro. La película fue lanzada en el 2014, siendo sus directores Takashi Yamazaki y Ryuichi Yagi.

While I have seen too much anime in my life, I had never seen the Doraemon series or read its manga, so this was a good opportunity to get to know the story of this cat from the future. The movie was released in 2014, being its directors Takashi Yamazaki and Ryuichi Yagi.

Sinopsis: Nobita Nobi es un niño en edad escolar que fracasa en todo. Una noche, sin esperarlo, es visitado por un pariente del futuro, que le informa de un posible mal futuro, para evitar ello, le decide dejar un gato llamado Doraemon. Ese gato le ayudará en variadas aventuras para poder cambiar el futuro de Nobita.

Synopsis: Nobita Nobi is a schoolboy who fails in everything. One night, without expecting it, he is visited by a relative from the future, who informs him of a possible bad future, to avoid it, he decides to leave him a cat named Doraemon. This cat will help him in various adventures to change Nobita's future.

La trama después de mostrar el inicio, es principalmente aventuras e historias cortas, de Doraemon y Nobita usando diversos objetos del futuro e intentar mejorar la situación del protagonista. Es comedia principalmente, pero ya por el tramo final, se le suma una historia mayor y un cierre final.

The plot after showing the beginning, is mainly adventures and short stories, of Doraemon and Nobita using different objects of the future and trying to improve the situation of the main character. It's mainly comedy, but by the final stretch, it adds a bigger story and a final closure.

Creo que en general, siendo el enfoque del público niños, no está mal, y es bastante disfrutable, pero creo que hay posibles mejoras en el ritmo, y de cómo desarrollan a los personajes, especialmente Nobita que puede llegar a ser bien molesto. El final es un tanto anticlimático, aparte de previsible.

I think that in general, being the focus of the audience children, it is not bad, and it is quite enjoyable, but I think there is room for improvement in the pace, and how they develop the characters, especially Nobita who can be quite annoying. The ending is somewhat anticlimactic, besides being predictable.

La animación CGI no está mal, pero no es su punto fuerte; a su vez, creo que el traslado de ciertas expresiones del anime con las bocas, no se trasladan bien al mundo 3D, se ve raro. La canción principal me gustó.

The CGI animation is not bad, but it is not its strong point; at the same time, I think that the transfer of certain expressions of the anime with the mouths, do not translate well to the 3D world, it looks weird. I liked the main song.

Como película familiar es una interesante opción. Para el que no conoce el mundo de Doraemon, es un buen primer acercamiento. Entretenida.
