Uno de los estrenos más esperados de este año, era este título, siendo una nueva película de Christopher Nolan sumado a un tema bien interesante, las expectativas han sido altas. Ya pude verla hace poco, así que dejo mis comentarios.
One of the most anticipated releases of this year was this title, being a new film by Christopher Nolan coupled with a very interesting theme, expectations have been high. I was able to see it recently, so I leave my comments.
Sinopsis: Julius Robert Oppenheimer fue la persona al frente del “Proyecto Manhattan”. El proyecto encargado de crear la bomba atómica. En el transcurso de la película veremos diversas etapas de Oppenheimer. Sus inicios, el desarrollo del proyecto que marcará su vida, un proceso en que se le acusa de ser comunista, etc.
Synopsis: Julius Robert Oppenheimer was the person in charge of the "Manhattan Project". The project in charge of creating the atomic bomb. In the course of the film we will see various stages of Oppenheimer. His beginnings, the development of the project that would mark his life, a trial in which he is accused of being a communist, etc.
Es una película bastante biográfica pero que también muestra el suceso que fue crear la primera bomba atómica y que al final fue usada para acabar la segunda guerra mundial. Se narra de manera que hay bastantes saltos de tiempo y puede ser un poco confuso, pero permite mostrar secretos y giros de manera más entretenida. Hay mucho juego con los sonidos e imágenes para mostrar las sensaciones del protagonista al tener que crear un arma de destrucción masiva.
It is a fairly biographical film but it also shows the event that was to create the first atomic bomb and that in the end was used to end the Second World War. It is narrated in a way that there are quite a few time jumps and can be a bit confusing, but it allows for secrets and twists to be shown in a more entertaining way. There is a lot of play with sounds and images to show the feelings of the protagonist having to create a weapon of mass destruction.
Hay bastantes personajes importantes de la historia, especialmente relacionados con la ciencia. Es interesante ver sus interacciones. Destaca bastante la actuación de varios actores como Robert Downey Jr. o el del protagonista realizado por Cillian Murphy. El soundtrack ayuda mucho en generar una atmósfera pesada que sientes que el peso de las acciones de los personajes es inmensa.
There are quite a few important characters in the story, especially related to science. It is interesting to see their interactions. The acting of several actors such as Robert Downey Jr. or that of the protagonist performed by Cillian Murphy stands out. The soundtrack helps a lot in generating a heavy atmosphere that you feel the weight of the actions of the characters is immense.
Es una película larga, dura aproximadamente 3 horas, pero creo que hace un buen trabajo en el ritmo para no sentirse agotadora; aún así, pide un poco de atención para no perderte en lo que ocurre en pantalla, especialmente con el tema del juicio a Oppenheimer.
It's a long film, lasting about 3 hours, but I think it does a good job of pacing itself so it doesn't feel exhausting; still, it does ask for a bit of attention so you don't get lost in what's happening on screen, especially with the Oppenheimer trial theme.
Al final ha sido una película bastante entretenida, con mucha atención al detalle, y con un buen uso de sonidos, imágenes y edición. Recomendable.
In the end it was a fairly entertaining film, with a lot of attention to detail, and good use of sound, visuals, and editing. Recommended.
