Una película de aventuras tienda a mostrar grandes combates, diversas escenas de acción, misterios por revelar, etc. Este título intenta mostrarnos una historia de aventuras mientras nos deja ciertos mensajes. Se estrenó hace poco en Netflix. Su director es Chris Williams.
An adventure movie tends to show great combats, diverse action scenes, mysteries to be revealed, etc. This title tries to show us an adventure story while leaving us certain messages. It was recently released on Netflix. Its director is Chris Williams.
Sinopsis: En La Inevitable, un gran barco donde su tripulación está dedicada a cazar bestias marinas. En él se encuentra Jacob que con el capitán Crow, tratan de cazar una bestia esquiva llamada Ráfaga Roja. A su vez, hay una niña huérfana llamada Maisie tan interesada en los cazadores que tratará de integrarse a la famosa tripulación.
Synopsis: In The Inevitable, a large ship where its crew is dedicated to hunting sea beasts. On it is Jacob who with Captain Crow, try to hunt an elusive beast called Red Bluster. At the same time, there is an orphan girl named Maisie who is so interested in the hunters that she will try to join the famous crew.
Partamos con los puntos buenos, que son principalmente la excelente animación y las diversas escenas de acción que veremos en la película. E incluso se puede mencionar como positivo los llamativos diseños de los diversos personajes. También me parece bueno el contexto que desarrollan, un mundo con sus propias reglas.
Let's start with the good points, which are mainly the excellent animation and the various action scenes that we will see in the film. And we can even mention as positive the striking designs of the various characters. I also think it is good the context they develop, a world with its own rules.
Es en el desarrollo de la trama donde veo problemas, que muestra como el personaje de Maisie se involucra en la vida de Jacob y la tripulación de La Inevitable. Un primer problema es que muchas transiciones no se muestran y se suponen, pero llegan a sentirse su falta.
It is in the plot development where I see problems, which shows how Maisie's character gets involved in the life of Jacob and the crew of The Inevitable. A first problem is that many transitions are not shown and are assumed, but come to feel their lack.
Otro punto y el que más me molesta son la cantidad de mensajes incoherentes que se dan, ya que contradicen todo lo mostrado en la película. Finalmente creo que hay demasiados cabos sueltos sin cerrar o tramas que no llevan a ningún lado.
Another point and the one that bothers me the most are the amount of incoherent messages given, as they contradict everything shown in the film. Finally I think there are too many loose ends or plots that lead nowhere.
El trabajo de voces original me parece correcto y la música acompaña bien a las escenas de acción. No hay nada que objetar a la producción.
The original voice work seems to me correct and the music accompanies the action scenes well. There is nothing to complain about the production.
En general el tema de incoherencia y el ver tantas fallas en el desarrollo de la trama resto demasiado en mi apreciación del título. Sin embargo, creo que hay diversos públicos(especialmente niños) que lo pueden acabar disfrutando.
Overall the issue of inconsistency and seeing so many flaws in the development of the plot is too much in my appreciation of the title. However, I think there are diverse audiences (especially children) that may end up enjoying it.
