Pixar cada vez va realizando más películas enfocadas en mostrar historias de un país en concreto, en esta ocasión se muestra una historia de amistad mezclado con folclore italiano. El título se estrenó el 2021. Su director es Enrico Casarosa.

Sinopsis: Luca es una especie de monstruo marino, él vive con su familia en el fondo del mar; sin embargo, siente curiosidad de lo que ocurre en la superficie. Un día conoce a Alberto, de la misma especie, que le hará perder el miedo a vivir en la superficie; sin embargo, para evitar un plan proteccionista de sus padres, tendrán que hacerse con un Vespa y escapar.

Synopsis: Luca is a kind of sea monster, he lives with his family at the bottom of the sea; however, he is curious about what happens on the surface. One day he meets Alberto, of the same species, who will make him lose his fear of living on the surface; however, to avoid a protectionist plan of his parents, they will have to get hold of a Vespa and escape.

La historia tiene varias etapas, y todas son interesantes, desde cuando comienzan a hacerse amigos Alberto y Luca, o la parte en que deben participar en una carrera. Tiene variados personajes divertidos e interesantes de conocer, destaca la que será una amiga de ellos, Giulia.

The story has several stages, and all of them are interesting, from when Alberto and Luca start to become friends, or the part where they have to participate in a race. It has several characters that are fun and interesting to meet, especially Giulia, who will be their friend.

Es una historia que muestra problemáticas de la amistad, así como la aceptación de lo diferente. Se muestra también como una historia de verano, que uno podría tener en la infancia. Tal vez un poco más de profundidad en los temas tocados, le hubiera sentado mejor.

It is a story that shows the problems of friendship, as well as the acceptance of what is different. It is also shown as a summer story, which one could have in childhood. Perhaps a little more depth in the themes touched upon would have suited it better.

El ritmo es excelente, los elementos que van formando la historia son presentados adecuadamente, y el interés que genera es bastante. Destaca la animación y los colores usados, dándole un toque bien pintoresco a los personajes y los escenarios.

The rhythm is excellent, the elements that make up the story are adequately presented, and the interest it generates is quite good. The animation and the colors used stand out, giving a very picturesque touch to the characters and scenery.

En general, la película me ha gustado bastante, y me dejó con ganas de más. Recomendable.

Overall, I liked the film quite a lot, and it left me wanting more. Recommended.
