En las guerras si bien hay una parte donde el combate frontal toma mucha relevancia; hay otra parte igual de importante, en donde el manejo de la información es crucial y donde si logras engañar a tu enemigo, puedes conseguir una gran ventaja. Ese es el caso de este título. Estrenada en 2021, siendo director John Madden. Basado en hechos reales.

Sinopsis: En 1943, durante la 2da guerra mundial, 2 oficiales de inteligencia del Reino Unido están apunto de desarrollar una estrategia para engañar a los nazis, en el que harán uso de las herramientas más impensadas. Ewen Montagu y Charles Cholmondeley comandan un equipo que trata de realizar un gran golpe.

Synopsis: In 1943, during World War II, 2 intelligence officers from the United Kingdom are about to develop a strategy to deceive the Nazis, in which they will make use of the most unthinkable tools. Ewen Montagu and Charles Cholmondeley lead a team trying to pull off a major coup.

El método que usan es el de mediante un cuerpo hundido en los mares, que este al llegar a costas españolas sea identificado como un militar de los aliados, y que lleva información del próximo gran ataque, siendo eso falso. Para ello tendrán que intentar cerrar todos los cabos sueltos, desde buscar un cuerpo, crear un historial, escribir las cartas oficiales, etc. A su vez, deben intentar que esos documentos acaben siendo interceptados por oficiales nazis y los consideren veraces.

The method they use is that by means of a body sunk in the seas, that this one when arriving at Spanish coasts is identified as a military of the allies, and that it takes information of the next great attack, being that false. To do this they will have to try to close all the loose ends, from finding a body, create a history, write official letters, etc.. At the same time, they must try to get these documents intercepted by Nazi officials and have them considered truthful.

El caso es bastante interesante, pero le agregan un poco de romance a la historia, que no llega a pegar del todo. Por otro lado, cuando la película muestra varias escenas en España el tono deja de ser serio, al punto que llega a ser cómico, supongo que de forma involuntaria, pero es lo que percibí.

The case is interesting enough, but they add a bit of romance to the story, which doesn't quite stick. On the other hand, when the film shows several scenes in Spain the tone stops being serious, to the point that it becomes comical, I guess unintentionally, but that's what I perceived.

Luego de un inicio un poco confuso, la historia es contada de forma dinámica así que acaba siendo interesante y entretenida. Creo que la parte del clímax final, le falto un mejor desarrollo. Y para acabar, se siente en falta mostrar la parte de los nazis, como cuando interceptan los documentos u otros.

After a confusing beginning, the story is told in a dynamic way so it ends up being interesting and entertaining. I think that the final climax lacked a better development. And finally, I feel that the part of the Nazis is missing, like when they intercept the documents or others.

La fotografía y la producción es buena, no hay mucho que objetar ahí. La música de fondo solo acompaña, sin mucha relevancia.

The photography and production is good, there is not much to object there. The background music only accompanies, without much relevance.

Concluyó que es una buena película pero tiene bastantes aspectos mejorables que menguan el resultado final.

He concluded that it is a good film but it has many aspects that could be improved that diminish the final result.
