Dragon Ball debe ser uno de los animes más populares de la historia, pero que sin embargo tuvo que esperar más de una década para tener un fuerte revivir con la película Dragon Ball Z: La batalla de los Dioses(2013) y su nueva serie anime. Hace poco ha estrenado lo que parece es un puente para la nueva serie que vendrá próximamente. Dirigido por Tetsuro Kodama y con el guión del conocido Akira Toriyama. Produjo Toei Animation.

Dragon Ball must be one of the most popular anime in history, yet it had to wait more than a decade to have a strong revival with the movie Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods (2013) and its new anime series. It has recently released what seems to be a bridge to the new series coming soon. Directed by Tetsuro Kodama and scripted by the well-known Akira Toriyama. Produced by Toei Animation.

Sinopsis: La Patrulla Roja está de vuelta. Tramando destruir a todos los que los vencieron, se alían con un científico para construir super androides. Para parar estos planes se encuentran Piccoro, Gohan y varios guerreros conocidos.

Synopsis: The Red Ribbon Army is back. Trying to destroy all those who defeated them, they team up with a scientist to build super androids. To stop these plans are Piccoro, Gohan and several well-known warriors.

A diferencia de las anteriores películas, donde brillaban más Goku y Vegeta. Se les ha dado la batuta a Piccoro y Gohan. Permitiendo que estos personajes se desarrollen un poco más, con los relegados que estaban. La trama si bien tiene bastante acción también lo mezcla con la comedia típica de la marca Dragon Ball. No es una trama mala, pero tampoco espectacular, y como siempre uno debe evitar buscar mucha coherencia con ciertos eventos.

Unlike the previous films, where Goku and Vegeta shone the brightest. Piccoro and Gohan have been given the baton. Allowing these characters to develop a little more, with the relegated they were. The plot while having plenty of action also mixes it with the typical Dragon Ball brand comedy. It's not a bad plot, but it's not spectacular either, and as always one should avoid looking for too much coherence with certain events.

Tal vez el mayor problema es que tiende a reciclarse muchos conceptos ya vistos anteriormente, dejando poco a la novedad.

En la animación, se ha pasado al clásico 2d a una 3d. El resultado si bien es aceptable, está muy lejos de productoras como Pixar o Dreamworks. El trabajo músical es solamente de fondo, no hay canción principal como en otras ocasiones.

In the animation, it has gone from the classic 2d to a 3d. The result, although acceptable, is far from Pixar or Dreamworks. The musical work is only in the background, there is no main song as in other occasions.

Si eres fan del anime, no puedes dejar de ver este nuevo título. Caso contrario, es difícil que encuentres algo realmente interesante en ella.
