Las expediciones para conocer partes del mundo, son ya parte intrínseca de la humanidad, desde continentes enteros hasta pequeñas islas; en este caso, veremos la historia de 2 hombres en busca de una expedición perdida y esperando conseguir cierta información sobre Groenlandia. El título fue estrenado hace poco en Netflix, siendo director Peter Flinth.

The expeditions to know parts of the world, are already an intrinsic part of humanity, from entire continents to small islands; in this case, we will see the story of 2 men in search of a lost expedition and hoping to get some information about Greenland. The title was recently released on Netflix, being director Peter Flinth.

Sinopsis: En 1909, el capitán Ejnar y el mecánico Iver, se harán a la búsqueda de ciertos documentos, que se suponen guardados en una parte profunda de Groenlandia. Todo ello, para convalidar una información para su país, Dinamarca. Esta expedición, se verá enfrentada por el frío, los animales salvajes y diversos accidentes, que pondrán en peligro tal proyecto.

Synopsis: In 1909, Captain Ejnar and the mechanic Iver, will go in search of certain documents, which are supposed to be kept in a deep part of Greenland. All this, to validate information for their country, Denmark. This expedition will be confronted by the cold, wild animals and various accidents that will jeopardize the project.

Esta película está basada en hechos reales, pero recomendaría no averiguar nada antes de verla, ya que gana bastante saber nada, especialmente ya por la última hora, donde hay unos interesantes giros. Es una aventura en donde la prioridad es cumplir la misión y sobrevivir. La primera parte tiene problemas habituales y por tal un poco aburridos, pero mejora bastante llegado cierto punto, y se vuelve difícil pronosticar un final.

This film is based on real facts, but I would recommend not to find out anything before watching it, as it is quite a gain to know nothing, especially in the last hour, where there are some interesting twists. It is an adventure where the priority is to accomplish the mission and survive. The first part has the usual problems and therefore a bit boring, but it gets better at a certain point, and it becomes difficult to predict an ending.

Los escenarios mostrados son bastante envolventes, y te hacen sentir lo difícil de la hazaña realizada. La actuación es buena a secas, en donde tenemos a Nikolaj Coster-Waldau como Ejnar. Un buen trabajo en los vestuarios y el maquillaje.

The scenarios shown are quite immersive, and make you feel the difficulty of the feat performed. The acting is just good, where we have Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Ejnar. Good work on costumes and makeup.

En general, creo que es una interesante aventura, que mejora según pasan los minutos, pero creo que ser más corta le habría beneficiado. Recomendada si te gusta ver hazañas humanas contra la naturaleza.

Overall, I think it's an interesting adventure, which gets better as the minutes go by, but I think being shorter would have benefited it. Recommended if you like to see human exploits against nature.
