Una de las mejores situaciones que te pueden ocurrir cuando ves cine, es cuando te encuentras con un título del que no tenías ni idea, pero te acaba gustando mucho e incluso sorprendiendo. Esto me ha ocurrido con este thriller que innova en ciertos aspectos que detallare. Se estrenó este año. Sus directores son Nicholas D. Johnson y Will Merrick.
One of the best situations that can happen when you watch movies, is when you come across a title that you had no idea about, but you end up liking it a lot and even surprising you. This has happened to me with this thriller that innovates in certain aspects that I will detail. It was released this year. Its directors are Nicholas D. Johnson and Will Merrick.
Sinopsis: June es una joven con un gran capacidad práctica de la tecnología actual relacionada a la internet. Esto le servirá de mucho cuando en unas vacaciones de su madre con su nueva pareja, esta desaparece. Esto le hará buscar todo los métodos posibles, desde su laptop, para hallar la ubicación de su madre.
Synopsis: June is a young woman with a great practical ability of the current technology related to the Internet. This will serve her well when on one of her mother's vacations with her new partner, she disappears. This will cause her to seek out every possible method, from her laptop, to find her mother's location.
No recuerdo una película o incluso una serie que haya desarrollado toda la acción desde una pantalla de una pc o laptop. Esto es lo que prueba este título y debo decir que el resultado es bueno. Nos muestra mucho como la tecnología actual tiene diversos mecanismos para hallar una persona, así como dejamos rastros de nosotros en toda la internet.
I don't remember a movie or even a series that has developed all the action from a pc or laptop screen. This is what this title proves and I must say that the result is good. It shows us a lot how today's technology has various mechanisms to find a person, just as we leave traces of us all over the internet.
A su vez, el thriller es interesante y muestra cómo la relación de una hija con su madre, puede llegar a tener bastantes giros. Me mantuve pegado a la historia desde el principio hasta el final. Si bien no busca una profundidad excesiva en los temas que toca, la realidad es que acaba siendo bastante entretenido de ver.
At the same time, the thriller is interesting and shows how a daughter's relationship with her mother, can come to have quite a few twists and turns. I stayed glued to the story from beginning to end. While it doesn't go too deep into the themes it touches on, the reality is that it ends up being quite entertaining to watch.
Hay buena música que acompaña a las diversas etapas de la historia, así como para generar el suspenso necesario. La actuación es aceptable. La edición funciona bastante, y es el otro punto que destaca en la película.
There is good music to accompany the various stages of the story, as well as to generate the necessary suspense. The acting is acceptable. The editing works quite well, and is the other point that stands out in the film.
Es bueno ver que se sigue innovando en las maneras de contar una historia, espero que el método se repita, y prueben ver hasta dónde puede llegar. Recomendable.
