En lo que se refiere a películas familiares, soy de los que prefiero de lejos las de animación, pero de vez en cuando pruebo ver una, viendo si traen algo nuevo o temáticas que me interesen. En este caso, es una producción polaca, estrenada este año. El director es Kristoffer Rus.

Sinopsis: Un niño, llamado Waldek, que compite en juegos online, se verá separado por su madre, debido a que será internada. Esos días será cuidado por su tía. Entre ellos comienza una batalla, en donde su tía Mariolka tratará de disciplinarlo.

Synopsis: A boy, named Waldek, who competes in online games, will be separated by his mother, because she will be hospitalized. Those days he will be taken care of by his aunt. Between them begins a battle, where his aunt Mariolka will try to discipline him.

Es una historia que se enfoca en mostrar mediante comedia y un toque de drama, el cambio de un niño malcriado a uno un poco más maduro. Si bien se habla de juegos online, es usado muy poco, una excusa, para enfocarse en mostrar los conflictos que ocurren en la vida de Waldek.

It is a story that focuses on showing through comedy and a touch of drama, the change of a spoiled child to one a little more mature. While there is talk of online gaming, it is used very little, an excuse, to focus on showing the conflicts that occur in Waldek's life.

Si bien puede ser interesante, peca en lo que casi siempre fallan las películas familiares, ser muy lineal y predecible. Aun así, la buena actuación del niño Waldek(Maciej Karas) y su tía Mariolka(Dorota Kolak), hacen entretenida la película. Tiene un buen ritmo.
Los demás aspectos de producción son correctos, sin ninguno que resalte mucho.

While it can be interesting, it fails in what family movies almost always fail at, being very linear and predictable. Still, the good acting of the boy Waldek (Maciej Karas) and his aunt Mariolka (Dorota Kolak), make the film entertaining. It has a good pace.
The other production aspects are okay, with none that stand out much.

Si bien me gustó la película, con lo justo, creo que lo que más se debe evitar en estas producciones familiares, es volverlas demasiado predecibles.

While I liked the film, with just enough, I think that what should be avoided in these family productions is to make them too predictable.
