Wooing 101
Today I was with a couple of friends just hanging out when this cute lady walked pass us and immediately, whatever it was that we were talking about before became irrelevant as we started to talk about her.
One of my friends has this huge crush on her and we didn’t hesitate to tease him about it especially seeing how he was finding it difficult to approach her and tell her how he feels.
During the process of him getting teased, the conversation about how and how not to woo a girl came up and knowing for a fact that I’m not a master in that field, I decided to do more of listening than talking. I was really hoping to learn one or two new tricks from my friends, the so called masters of wooing ladies and trust me, I heard a lot of things.
One of the techniques though that I kind of disagreed with was the one where they said ignoring a lady will actually make her want to pay more attention to you. According to the boys, it’s a tested and trusted method that they could guarantee would work for any lady but for some reason I don’t totally agree with them.
Sure there are ladies who get more intrigued by guys who pay little or no attention to them especially when every other guy in the room is dying to have her attention, same way there are ladies who prefer bad boys to good boys for some weird reasons, but something I do know is that every lady is bound to get tired of trying to make you see them if you keep pretending like you don’t.
And sometimes, while you’re still playing your “I don’t see you, I don’t care” game, some other guy out there who is really putting in all the work to try and woo her would end up having her because after all, to her, you’re not interested in her so why should she waste her time trying to impress someone who doesn’t even give a damn about her.
So while this technique might work from time to time, it is not advisable for we guys to apply it every time. We just might end up losing someone who we really love.
Also ladies, why the hell would such a technique even work on you in the first place, isn’t that just strange and not normal?
I need answers please.
