If you think about it and look at life from a different perspective then you will realize that it's kinda like a sad one. From the moment we're born, our lives are programmed, almost like there's an invincible scheme of work everyone is following. Go to school, get a job and then if you're not part of the lucky ones who gets rich along the line, you probably will just keep working for the rest of your life.

It's almost as if we all were all born just to die chasing wealth. I've often asked myself that after we get this wealth, whats next? Do we just sit back, relax and do nothing while time just goes by but then we all know that humans never gets satisfied, even the most richest man in the world today is still working to accumulate more wealth so the question should be, is there really enough money for any man?

But then again I might be wrong because you see I've come to realize that there are certain questions that we just can't provide an answer to unless we find ourselves in that situation. Same way we don't understand when people say health is wealth until we fall seriously ill and then we get a proper understanding of the saying.

What I'm trying to say is that we may not be able to come up with a one hundred percent correct answer about a question like this unless we find ourselves in a position where we have a lot of wealth, a good health and a good relationship with God, you know, when we feel like we've got it all, only then can we truly answer the question on what next do we go after after we've gotten these things.

But if I must give a reply to the question, then one thing I probably know for sure that we humans will go after after we've gotten all the wealth in the world with good health, is power. And I say power because we all know humans get obsessed with these two things, wealth and power and that is why when we get that wealth, the next thing we always go after is power. A bad example of what I'm trying I'm trying to say is when some people (not everyone) hire extra helps or servant not because they're needed but probably just to boss them around. That is because no matter how little or big that power is, the feeling of being in charge will always be there and a lot of people love that feeling.

This is a very sad way of looking at things. No one gets to be the wealthiest person in the world because they are chasing wealth. You get there because you're chasing purpose. In Elon Musks case the purpose is advancing man beyond earth. Wealth is the collected reciprocation of value you provide to others. And I don't know anyone who hires another person because they wont to exert power over them. Most people hire others to further their personal mission. That's my experience anyway.

No I'm not saying everyone who hires someone does it to exert power, I just gave that as an example to drive home my point.. I guess it was a very bad example, my bad.

About chasing wealth, I think you might be right about that too..

Thanks for the comment 🙂

what is the meaning of wealth and power without a health, especially mental health. we have a lot of money and we are constantly flattered for the power we have. but will we be happy if our mental is always depressed. I do not think so. so whatever we get, whether it's wealth and power, if we don't have a hand, then we will never get happiness from what we have and work for.

I thought about this yesterday but I am not someone obsessed with power and I pray never to fall into the trap of power obsession because when wealth and other things are life falls into place, we tend to start looking for unnecessary things like fame and power.

Sadly, life is running in a circle and it takes grace to break out of the circle. A lot of things change between dreaming and achieving our dreams, many of the things we plan to do today become things we don't remember when we become comfortable in life.

For me, it has always been about helping people even if life doesn't give me everything I desire for.

Well said. Power is another insatiable want of man. Even though money and wealth already comes with power, but man will always want to have more money and more power
