Two Thing Planned

Unlike every other holidays where I have nothing planned because it's just like every other day to me, I'm a little bit excited that this year's holiday might be a little bit different. I know that according to my title, I said I have two things planned but the truth is that it's actually one. The other one is me spending time with my family, especially my kid bro because it's been a while we saw each other (over a year now) and I just can't wait to see him.

But spending time with the family will only happen if I do decide to travel back home which I doubt I will do because I'm really second guessing it. Going home isn't the problem, the problem is the journey home. Like if I could just blink my eyes and see myself teleport from my hostel to my family home, I would do that but it's not possible (at least not yet), so that is that.

The one thing I think I do have planned for the holidays though is an outing with the boys. I and the boys had made an arrangement (or we're in the process of making an arrangement) on how we could all enjoy this Christmas together without having to travel back home. Things like video games, going to the cinema and other interesting events that happens during times like this. We kinda have it all mapped out but the only little bit of setback we're experiencing is the financial aspect.

Having a good time like that (for the whole of the holiday) will surely cost a lot and though I'm sure we will get that covered before we get to the planned day of the outing, I still feel like I might be that guy who gets invited to a party, agrees to attend and then opt out at the last minute. And this won't be because I happen to be an introvert or anything like that, it's actually because somewhere deep in my heart, I feel like I might feel really bad if I don't travel back home to go see my family after twelve months of not seeing them.

If I do decide to go see my family though, one thing is for sure, I will spend more cash than I might spend if I spent my holidays here in school and this is because I will end up doing a lot of outings with my siblings (even though nothing is planned for now),especially going to the beach. I happen to be one of those grownups who hasn't been to the beach in my life and yes, I know there's probably only five of us left in the world who haven't been to the beach before. Well I plan on reducing that number to four people because of if I do decide to travel home to go see the family, I'm definitely going to the beach.

Well there you have it, these are my plans for Christmas. I know it's not much from your own perspective probably because you guys are used to doing a lot of fun things for Christmas but this for me is actually a lot considering how I usually do nothing on Christmas.

It’s always a nice to spend time with family especially when you haven’t seen them for so long. Your kid brother must miss you a lot.

Oh don’t do that man, don’t reduce our number to 4😂. We the 5 that haven’t been to the beach are the cool ones you know 😉.

Oh I no I haven’t. I’ll make sure to reduce the number to 3 before the year ends.😂

Did you say spend more cash? For family's sake, it is worth it and I am sure they will be excited to see you since you said it's been over a year.

Both plans aren't bad, whichever you end up doing will definitely be awesome. Compliment of the season to you.

Well I'm starting to really lean towards paying the family a visit because like you said, it's worth it.
