Things I Wouldn’t do
Today, I was having my usual regular talk with myself when all of a sudden the question about what I wouldn’t do for love was asked to myself by myself (please don’t get confused).
The reason why I thought about this question was because of something that happened here (at my hostel) a while back. A guy had gotten home to find out that his girlfriend who came to visit him wasn’t at home. He had called her friends and they had told him where she went and then he immediately went over there to go drag her home.
We had later found out that he had gone with the intention to fight with any guy he saw with her because he had thought she had gone to meet with another man. Then I started to ask myself, can I fight another man simply because I caught him wooing my girl?
Hell no!
Fighting another man over a lady is the last thing I’m ever going to do in my life and the reason is simple. A girl who knows what she wants doesn’t even need a man to fight over her, she simply agrees to be with the one she likes.
If you claim to like me but you’re always spending more time with someone else instead of me, then your actions is clearly telling me who your heart belongs to. I guess that’s why the saying “action speaks louder than voice” never lies.
So yeah, fighting a man over a woman is something I will never do. Instead, I will rather not talk to the lady ever again and probably still say hi to the guy whenever I see him around because it’s not really his fault. The lady isn’t a kid anymore and should be able to know what she wants.
Besides, I’m too busy trying to learn how to cook to have time for things like this.
