The Scary Game

Some times, playing some childhood games with our friends now that we're adults can be very exciting because it doesn't only strengthen our bonds as friends, it takes us back to the days where we all were innocent and had little to no worries at all.

Today was one of those days for me. You see, my friends and I had somehow created a game for us many years ago. We never really gave it a name because it didn't seem important at that time, but it was a very scary game, one that ended with us mostly screaming at the end before laughing at ourselves.

So how did we play this scary game?

Well you see, how the works was that one of our friends would volunteer to be the one to scare us while the rest of the guys are the ones getting scared and bitten. Our friend who volunteered would countdown from 5 to 1, before slowly advancing towards us while snarling and sniffing us, basically like a wolf would do.

We on the other hand would lie down and remain still and this was because if any of us were to move after the countdown, the snarling wolf would pounce on us and bite us until we either scream or run for our lives. The interesting thing about this game was how real and intense it always felt even though we all knew it was just a game and the wolf was our nice friend just making funny noises.

So we all would remain still and not even move a finger to scratch even if we were feeling an itch. I remember what we mostly did was wait until the wolf attacks someone, then the moment it does, the rest of us always ran for our lives because like I said, it always felt real and our survival instinct was always telling us to run even though we were always laughing at each other as we ran.

I had played the scary game earlier today with my neighbour and even though we're both grown, he still got scared and I remember laughing all through. It was a fun time and it really brought back nice memories. Y'all should try doing that with family and friends, I'm sure you will have a nice time playing your favourite childhood games with them just like I did with my friend today.

wow this scary game looks too much fun but its best for the best buddies only because not everyone will understand or play the game as you all used to do it in your childhood. we all have some own made games in our childhood and I do remember mine too, thanks for reminding us of our childhood games through your blog ✌️

After reading your post, some of my childhood memories have been refreshed. I also used to play my favorite game for hours with my friends. The time spent in childhood is the best because one has no worries about life at all.
