The Pickup

It was suppose to be a simple mission. Identify the carrier, take the package from the carrier and eliminate the carrier. That was the order given to them before fifteen of them left their base that morning. But then things started turning south when the carrier arrived five minutes late on a motorbike.

They knew something wasn't right because the carrier was never late, ever. And then they all got confused when the carrier took off his helmet and it turned out to be a male carrier.

They had been told that the package would be delivered by a female carrier. The orders were to eliminate a female carrier.

Gus, the leader of the operation had checked the package first to make sure it was what it should be before placing a call to his boss to know if they were to carry on as planned or drag the bastard with them to base.

His boss had wasted no time in ordering him to eliminate the man. Something wasn't right and he could feel it in his bones. The phone must have been so loud that even the carrier go hear their conversation, so he immediately swung into action, he knew even hesitating for a little bit could be the end of him.

And even before Gus could tell what was going on, his men laid on the floor dead or almost.

“Now you tell Hector that the black diamond belongs to my family and that the next time he sends someone to come steal it, it would be his head in a sack.” The man said to Gus and handed him a sack bag before getting on his bike and zoomed off with the package in his hand. The stench coming from the bag was so bad that Gus didn't need anyone telling him what was in it.

When he finally opened the bag, the gory sight shook him so much that even as he explained the whole thing to his boss Hector, he still couldn't get a hold of himself.

By the time Gus was done with his story, Hector knew who the mysterious man was, he had watched the young boy grow into a man himself but when he took out his father, he didn't know the boy would be a problem.

He slowly took out his phone from his pocket and dialed a number.

“We have work to do.”
