The Chief Bridesmaid
Tracy noticed how cold and quiet Mike was throughout the whole day and this was very strange considering they both would be tying the knot as man and wife in the next few days. All effort from her to know what made Mike’s mood this bad were futile. He claimed he was fine but even a blind man could see that that was a lie.
“Was he getting cold feet?” Tracy asked herself because she has read somewhere online that this things tends to happen and he might want to call off the wedding.
Not knowing what to do, she picked up her phone and called her friend Diane. Diane, Mike and Tracy had been friend for a while now, though Diane met Tracy through Mike.
Tracy immediately told Diane what was happening and how she was beginning to get scared and Diane had assured her that Mike wasn’t getting cold feet or anything like that. She sounded so confident that if Tracy had not been so much worried about Mike, she would have noticed how confident Diane was over the phone. It was as if she already had the conversation with Mike before speaking to Tracy.
Tracy thanked her and ended the call after Diane promised to talk to Mike but what Tracy didn’t know was that Mike was right next to Diane the whole time.
“Please don’t do this to me, I can’t live without you” Mike continued begging.
A few days ago, Diane had called mike and told him that she no longer wanted to continue with their affair because he would be getting married to her friend very soon. She was cool fooling around with him when he was only engaged to her but now that he was going to become her husband, she didn’t want nothing to do with anyone’s husband.
Mike had thought it was all a joke but after he couldn’t reach Diane on the phone after that conversation, he knew she was serious. He tried all he could to talk to her, he even went to her place but she refused to open the door.
His wedding was in a few days time and yet he couldn’t stop himself from thinking about his wife’s Chief bridesmaid.
“Don’t you get it, I can’t be with a married man!” Diane said to Mike before slamming the door on his face. It’s funny how a lady who’s willing to be with another man who’s in a relationship has a rule about not being with that same man once the relationship becomes legal.
She would see him in church in a few days time and they would both pretend that none of this ever happened.

This is what is happening in our society. There are people like Mike everywhere.
I had a similar experience with My Ex-girlfriend. She was cheating while we were together, I later found out and quit the relationship.
You won't believe she was still begging and asking for forgiveness while she was still in bed with the other guy.
More like "trying to eat your cake and have it"
I don't understand why most people can't be satisfied with staying and growing with one person? Some say it is alright to cheat and have side chicks.

Wow.. I've never really experienced this first hand but trust me if I did, I would deal with it in a way that would most likely end her relationship because I can be toxic when I want to be..
But I guess ending things with her is the best way.. Thanks for reading.
Yeah, I had several thoughts like this too. I even had the chance to replay the same scenario and end their relationship too but what makes me a better man is that I stand tall through it all and still show love regardless.
With that, I am a better example to others too.

Violence is never the answer. It might look like it's the better option cos it brings some egoistic satisfaction but trust me, it will only make matters worsen.
